This ticket was AS purchased w/ AS# attached, in Y

I had no plans to try JL F due to previous reports. I was anticipating issues at Sakura due to my PP# not being on the boarding pass. A very welcome surprise.

My takeaway is this: even without checked bags, go to counter check-in. If they write “First lounge” on your BP, enjoy! If not, head over to Sakura with a smile. If this was an oversight, rather than a policy change, we want to leave the opportunity available for others instead of prompting clarification with check-in staff.

Flew HA824 NRT-SEA yesterday (09/01) award in J. Boarding pass printed out with SAKURA LOUNGE on it so we checked in downstairs at the Sakura Lounge. Our AS FF#'s were on the boarding pass and the agent at the lounge said because we were OWE we could use the First Lounge.
