I last used a QF First Shower in November and it was fine.
Certainly much better than my experiences with the QF J showers over the two decade before the current First lounge opened - I always still felt damp/tacky after using them (although admittedly, I have not used one since COVID).

Sorry Koru Flyer for replying to an old post, but is your shower rankings for OW lounges still accurate would you say? Flying QR J, but was assuming their SIN showers would be similar to theirs in BKK and DOH (ie total unventilated humid nightmares) so figured Id use the QF F facilities, but based on your assessment, the QR ones arent actually that bad while the QF F ones are actually not ventilated? Basically Im trying to figure out which OW lounge has the most ventilated showers; all other aspects are secondary!
As an hint for QR. I use the first shower along the left as you head towards the bathrooms. I believe this is the ambulatory shower or something like that, but it is well laid out, good toiletries, good ventilation and excellent pressure. Especially, as it is used by few if any people, you are not dealing with the humidity built up from the last 3-4 people.
EVerything with QR is helped by the fact the lounge is mostly empty. Everything with QF F is ruined by the fact the lounge is jammed to the rafters.
I have not used the BA showers, since the lounge was refurbed, but I do not think BA did anything, as their global view of showers is quite dim.

I find the water pressure, and ventilation of QF F showers to be poorer than the QR lounge. Also with QF unless you avoid the rush, there is often a long wait in the early evening. And then when it is rush time you are entering a humid and hot sauna.

Thanks for the detailed response and the tips about using the accessible shower at the QR lounge. I should be arriving at changi around 5ish, which Im guessing is the start of the evening rush for the QF F lounge. You also mentioned in your post from last year that surprisingly the QF J showers are good and better than the QF F and QR J showers?if I finish my meetings in Singapore on the earlier side of things, Ill probably end up at changi a bit before the QR lounge opens. But im assuming if the QF F lounge is packed and theres a line for showers there, the QF J lounge is gonna be worse and it isnt even worth trying it.

Any OWE in SIN F Lounge on 19 March and can guest me in? Anytime from opening time onwards. Many thanks!
Mod - if such request is inappropriate for this thread, please advise or move accordingly (I can't find a lounge meetup thread for the QF forum).

Question as I'm not familiar with Qantas policy. I'm flying out of Singapore on a Qantas flight in economy. I'm a Oneworld emerald status holder with another airline. So I have access to the first or business lounge?
