You also mentioned in your post from last year that surprisingly the QF J showers are good and better than the QF F and QR J showers?if I finish my meetings in Singapore on the earlier side of things, I’ll probably end up at changi a bit before the QR lounge opens. But im assuming if the QF F lounge is packed and there’s a line for showers there, the QF J lounge is gonna be worse and it isn’t even worth trying it.
My memory seems to disagree with other flyers - and it could have been what was available at the time. I remember the QF J showers having a very large bank of showers so that waiting was not an issue. And that they were larger than the BA J and QF F, so that the shuffle of floor wetness, humidity, and balancing around open carryon's and the like was better there. But ever since I found the tranquility of QR, I have not had the urge to go back. I did try the QF F showers the other month, as I was meeting someone there, and reminded me of all of the issues I have with the QF F lounge. I was there from about 5pm and enjoyed the first part, then took cover as the stampede from QF1/2 came in.
