As an hint for QR. I use the first shower along the left as you head towards the bathrooms. I believe this is the ambulatory shower or something like that, but it is well laid out, good toiletries, good ventilation and excellent pressure. Especially, as it is used by few if any people, you are not dealing with the humidity built up from the last 3-4 people.
EVerything with QR is helped by the fact the lounge is mostly empty. Everything with QF F is ruined by the fact the lounge is jammed to the rafters.
I have not used the BA showers, since the lounge was refurbed, but I do not think BA did anything, as their global view of showers is quite dim.

Thanks for the detailed response and the tips about using the accessible shower at the QR lounge. I should be arriving at changi around 5ish, which I’m guessing is the start of the evening rush for the QF F lounge. You also mentioned in your post from last year that surprisingly the QF J showers are good and better than the QF F and QR J showers?if I finish my meetings in Singapore on the earlier side of things, I’ll probably end up at changi a bit before the QR lounge opens. But im assuming if the QF F lounge is packed and there’s a line for showers there, the QF J lounge is gonna be worse and it isn’t even worth trying it.
