I discovered Virtuoso when I booked the IC Park Lane earlier this year.

Just booked the IC Barclays and got all of this AND I get to use my IHG AMB number and get IHG points/credit, too. Free Club Lounge and no $45/day amenity fee!!!

Rates were exactly the same that were posted on IHG.com

My stay is in MAY 2025 though but any updates & your insitu experiences are most kindly appreciated...

Any recent experiences of whether this hotel charges the junk fee on award stays?

Last time I stayed at the IC Times Sq they didn't charge it but I know policy is all over the place. Haven't stayed at the Barclay before.

They have always removed mine. I last stayed in autumn but back in March

Was gonna eat this before checking out. Went to eat them today and it clearly says PERISHABLE KEEP REFRIGERATED….and they were not cold when we arrived so I didn’t even get to try them.

Then i'm definetly going to eat those on my MAY 2025 visit.
This might be the gimick i'm looking for to lose weight pronto!
Rather play the butt trumpet and lose 25 kg at any cost as i can then finally fit in spandex and leggings again without feeling like a pig in a blanket!

So so

Currently in the hotel as Ambassador on a Virtuoso booking. A lot of nothing! No upgrade(booked premium high floor), no welcome amenity, amenity fee waived (but with the message that we could not benefit them?), no space to sit in the club lounge in the evenings, no help with our luggage, nobody to open the door or welcome us at arrival, no place to park and unload the car when arriving, no welcome drink (Points posted before we arived). No the IC standaard standard I expect.
