You will need an airport printed BPs, app-based BPs will not be generated or accepted.

Lounges
  • STATS (Terminal 1, 2, 3) open 24 hours
  • SQ KrisFlyer (for *G pax) / SilverKris (for J pax) lounges (Terminal 2, 3rd Floor, Mezzanine Level & Terminal 3, 3rd Floor, near to Gates A1-5) open 24 hours
  • TG Royal Silk Lounge (International Terminal 1, 3rd Floor, near West Immigration) (not open overnight)

Same for me, not long after Jewel opened. Can’t wait to get back this summer.

One silver lining is UA is back in T3! Just wish it was B5/B6 like in the good old PMUA days

Hopefully UA/SQ MOU leads to some ex-SIN codeshares on SQ as well!

I forgot to ask what is so good about T3.

Does anyone here know if it's possible to do a COVID rapid test at SIN? If so, how much is it?

Yes - there is a location in the basement of Terminal 3 for 27sgd.

Nice! Is this a reasonable price, or can I get a better price since I'm heading into the city anyway?

For a start, T3 is newer and is not just a terminal. It is a integrated shopping, retails (in and outside of immigration) structure with better connections/access to the subway station, Jewel, airport hotel and App pick-up services.
In addtion, for those in Polaris cabin, you are access the brand new SQ Sillverkris lounge. I am a PPS member, so I can access Silverkris lounge when flying Y. I have no idea what *G Y pasengers use at T3. the new Silverkris Lounge is quite nice, and will be further expanded.

SIN does not have a dedicated *A terminal. Most of the *A partners are flying out of T1 which will likely going through renovation after T2's current renovation is completed.

Thanks for the info that's great news. I'm assuming this test is acceptable for entry into the U.S., correct? Is the basement access land side? Thanks!

Yes, the Raffles Medical Group ART will suffice for US entry. Another option is to buy an ART kit and do a video proctored ART using a telemed service like Dr Anywhere. Ultimately price diff will likely be minimal.

I need some advice. I am flying with a colleage SFO-SIN on United in August. We land at 6:15AM. We want to catch the 9:30AM SQ flight to BKK. We will both have checked bags. I bought the UA tickets, then I am purchasing the one-way SQ ticket separate.

1. Is it possible to transit SIN on two different tickets? If so, we do not need to clear immigration right?
2. {moved to UA Bag Interlining If Separate Tix with *A Partners (YES) & Non *A Partners (NO) - FlyerTalk Forums}
3. Is the connection time workable? 3 hours 15 minutes.

Thanks

2. 1K help desk seemed to think we can check bags somehow all the way to BKK if I let the US SFO agent know. Is that correct? They will coordinate the bags with SQ since they are same Alliance even though completely seperate bookings?

I can’t comment on the interline baggage. However I have flown UA 1 to SIN several times. I once transferred with my son to SGN on separate tix, there wasn’t an issue at all. There are transfer desks throughout the terminal and you definitely have enough time. No, you do not need to clear immigration or customs you just stay in the sterile area the whole time

I'm not sure how up to date this is, but it appears transiting on separate tickets may still not be allowed due to COVID restrictions:

Under the government’s transit travel rules, passengers who are transiting through Changi and plan to depart on a different airline, must have both flights booked in the same booking itinerary. Passengers must also have their checked-in luggage tagged-through from the origin airport to their final destination.
