The new SFO<> SIN has the timing others have wanted, but deletion of LAX kind of makes it clear, UA (and appears its customers) is focusing on SFO as the Pacific gateway.

You could knock me over with a feather
Guess I looked at Airline Route a little too early, haven't seen that posted yet.
But with Op Ups for employees both to and from SIN, regularly seeing open R, no surprise.
I would see a full J cabin from SFO, R space from LAX, maybe it will become possible to find an u/g ex after the switch to SFO

Guess I’m glad I flew it while it existed? Have to imagine this is a result of UA being ever weaker out of LAX, unfortunately. Second iteration of UA37 I have flown that will cease to exist (EWR-OSL being the other).

Perhaps I will also wait to see the new schedule before making any requests. Will be curious to see if they load with open R as per usual.

Isn't SQ starting non stop LAX-SIN flights? SQ statement : "We think LA is a good market and our customer continue to tell us that they would like us to have direct flight to Los Angeles, just like they have been telling us they would love to have New York direct as well, so we will continue to do that."
