Looks like I was impatient! My application date is Dec-01-2019, and I received conditional approval for myself and my daughter just today (Aug-11-2020), so looks like processing time is somewhere between 8-9 months.
Maybe relevant as a data point - both myself and my daughter applied as US citizens; whereas my wife is a Canadian citizen with GC and she hasn't received her conditional approval yet (applied at the same time), though I'm hopeful it'll come soon. Not that it matters since no inteview slots are available in the US right now...

Not without paying a separate fee for GE. Also if you are worried about having to cross the border for the interview, assuming interviews start again soon, there are certain places like Detroit where interviews are entirely on the US side, so you don't have to worry about even dealing with Canadian entry issues.

I'm an Indian citizen in the US with a CA PR. I applied for NEXUS on Dec 13, 2019. Based on the information on this thread, I was expecting to receive a conditional approval this August. But I've seen no movement on my application ever since I applied.
Is anyone else from Dec or before also waiting? Has the approval time gone up or do I need to check if my application is stuck for any reason?

I would like to thanks all in this forum with the information. It helped me a lot to be patient and stay on top of my nexus card approval progress. I received the approval for my and my family's nexus card yesterday. Now the wait will start for interview dates. there is no interview available until next year within 5-6 hours of drive. most of the centers are not showing up in the list.
