What's the difference between the Ink Bold & Ink Plus cards?
Ink Bold is no longer available. It was a charge card (pay balance in full each month), but it has been discontinued and many accounts were converted to Ink Plus cards with the same account numbers.

Ink Plus is a revolving credit card. It allows you to earn and redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points (including transfering UR points to air/hotel/rail partners).
What are the best current Ink Plus offers?

The Ink Plus card is no longer available for new applicants. There is a separate thread for The Ink Business Preferred card.

Links for non-targeted Ink Plus 60K offer ($5,000 spend/3 months; annual $95 fee not waived)
There is a report of a 70k offer for the Chase Ink Plus available only through your local Chase Bank office, extended to August 20, 2016. If you recently accepted the 60K offer, you may be able to get the extra 10K simply by asking for it.

There is a no-fee, UR-earning Ink Cash card: https://creditcards.chase.com/ink-bu.../ink-cash-card

After being denied, how long should I wait before applying again for the same card?

Are there special earning categories?
Yes. You earn 5 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at office supply stores, and on cellular phone, landline, internet, and cable TV services. (Sirius XM Radio also qualifies.)

In addition, you earn 2 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at gas stations and for hotel accommodations when purchased directly from the hotel.

NOT ALL Ink cards earn the 5x and 2x bonus categories above. Not "Old Ink Bold" that earns 7,500 bonus points for $25,000 spend, 15,000 points for $50,000, and 25,000 points for $100,000 spend.

Closing Ink Plus cards
It is possible to pay the annual fee for the Chase Ink Plus business card, then close the account and get a refund of the fee up to 6 months after it was charged. This provides a total of 18 months of earning up to 5X points for free. Make sure your points are transferred out (either to another UR account owned by you or a spouse, or to an air/hotel partner) before you close the account.

Went to chase branch yesterday with SO to see if we had preapprovals for Ink Preferred.

I did not have any preapprovals for business cards (over 5/24) but the banker said he will update my profile and maybe pre approvals will pop up by next week.

My wife was preapprovaed for Ink Preferred. Banker applied and had to call in, just took an extra minute. She also got her Reserve card in the beginning of Jan through in branch pre approval.

80000 points and 1st year fee waived.

Just want to add a data point. I can confirm that DirecTV NOW (as opposed to the DirevTV satellite service)does count towards 5x on the Ink+.

EDIT: Looks like there's already a dp in the wiki listed under just DirecTV for DTV NOW.

Points Clawback?

I just completed the $5K min spend on my Chase Ink Preferred and the 80K shows due to hit on next statement. I have moved onto to meeting the min spend on my Sapphire Res now. However, I just returned a textbook to Amazon for a $161 credit to my Ink, which will push me below the $5K min spend mark.

Will I still get the 80k on the next statement?

Once the 80k posts, is there any chance that it could be lost due to returns/credits?

Just got off the phone with Chase and am now curious to get opinions. I applied 2/1/17 when I fell to 4/24 (applied for and got the CSR, and then applied for the Ink Preferred the same day to hopefully a] combine pulls and b] get a 2-for-1 at 4/24). Automated line has been at 30 days. Got a call from 302-427-3930 this morning, and it was Chase calling to confirm information on my application (business income each of the last 3 years, gross profits, and personal total income). After giving all that, he said he could approve with a credit limit of $10,500 and to wait "one to two minutes to put this through." He then came back and said that it needed further review and that a decision would be made within 24-36 hours and I'd receive the decision in writing within 7-10 days. The automated line still says 30 days. Since he didn't say he was recommending it for approval, like prior posters have said, anyone had similar happen to them? (I'll turn this into a data point post once a decision is made, of course.)

Can you point me to where it shows that the bonus is due to hit on the next statement? I have not seen that feature before.

In the UR portal, if you look under "Earning on the Next Statement" (Far left), you should see the points earned from spending + any additional bonuses pending.

(the attached is from my CSR showing the same)

Applied for the Ink preferred business card a week or so ago and received quick approval. There have been posts talking about rejections because lack of estbalished business. I periodically sell stuff on ebay and entered a sole prop application. Did not overstate income earned (sub $1k) and did not have an issue with the application.

Figures I get the 80k bonus and now there's talk about a 100k one. If I make my wife an authorized user on my ink business card, does that improve her chances to land the ink business card in her name in the future?

I was just going to post whether anyone's heard any updates concerning the 100K signup rumor for the Ink Preferred, but I have a related question... Does Chase allow multiple business cards in a single credit portfolio? In other words, would I have to close out my Ink Plus before applying for, or getting approved for, the Ink Preferred? Would having the Ink+ help in establishing the "legitimacy" of a Business credit account or would Chase reject any applications for additional Business cards right off the bat? Lastly, is there any truth to the rumblings that 5x earnings are soon to be put to rest on the Ink+ or is that just speculation? Any thoughts on whether you think the Ink+ will just be grandfathered into Chase's offerings? I'm hesitant to let it go if it's carried on as an exception, but if the earnings get downgraded or the card is phased into another product, I'm all too happy to drop out for the (hopefully) 100K Preferred signup.

I was in a Chase branch yesterday while my wife applied for CSR (approved).

Since the rep was so friendly and outgoing, I inquired about the Ink 100K rumor.

The Chase rep stated that he heard that the current 80K bonus is about to be LOWERED!!

He may even be correct.

Basically, we know nothing at this point.

I was shocked actually that there was a rumor of 100k on a card with a relatively low AF. The 80k seemed huge to me. Spouse was going to wait a bit before applying but I think will go ahead now bc often Chase will match higher offer if within 90 days.

Not sure if this is the right thread for Ink Cash but wanted to give DP that it is subject to 5/24 rule. Got the denial letter with only one reason which is too many credit cards opened in the last two years. Yes I'm way way over 5/24.

As I understand ink preffered checks against 5/24 but doesn't count towards 5/24.

I.e. if you are already at 5/24 you will be denied, if you are at 4/24 you will be approved and remain at 4/24
