Right now I am on a ticket on which I transited SIN a while back, and
tomorrow I am stopping there for a while.
You might have to phone it in, but it can be done.

Why not? I have exactly this on an AE reward- stop in TPE en route to final destination, then transit TPE on the way back.

Or maybe you can "connect" the same city twice, but you can't do a "stop" and "connect" of the same city in a single ticket. But you indicate you had done this... so, I am not sure why the search page will hide those options on me.

To hit or maintain E50K you will need to hit $6K AQD. Unless the ticket is an AC issued ticket (starts with 014), your proposed flight won't count towards that. I found this out the hard way earlier this year when I booked a YYZ-HKG through EVA Air before knowing about the changes AC made this year.

EVA equivalent (or nearest....which gives *G status) requires 80K in first year, so it is quite a bit higher. Flip-side is that you have 2 years to re-qualify, which makes it easier to keep.

Eva Air (BR) availability on AP?
Hi all,
I haven't booked an AP reward tix for a while. What's the general availability of BR in TPAC routes (YYZ-TPE, JFK-TPE) on AP? I can't book priority rewards b/c I'm not one of the PAX.
Travel time will be early/mid-Sept (9/9 departure), one way only.
Thanks for your help!

Also as an eg. just a couple of days ago, there was decent inventory in the under 14 day timeframe. Thinking I might want to change that ticket, I checked again last night and now nothing is available within that window, so perhaps BR had "sold out".

PM superangrypenguin. He loves EVA having flown them many times and should be able to give you some guidance. I dont believe he joined EVA FF program but looking into it. Then again he has not posted for some time so perhaps he is doing a Robinson Crusoe

Just a heads up for those flying EVA in PE and crediting to AC/AE. I flew EVA PE and in their fare code this is T class. The AC leg ended up as high flex (M) and I was able to upgrade. However while crediting miles, AC credited as Tango (50%). So I am not doing the back and forth between AE and AC.
