What's the difference between the Ink Bold & Ink Plus cards?
Ink Bold is a charge card (pay balance in full each month), while Ink Plus is a revolving credit card. Otherwise, the two cards are very similar; both are business cards, and both allow you to earn and redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points (including transfering UR points to air/hotel/rail partners).
Are there special earning categories?
Yes. You earn 5 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at office supply stores, and on cellular phone, landline, internet, and cable TV services. (Sirius XM Radio also qualifies.)

In addition, you earn 2 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at gas stations and for hotel accommodations when purchased directly from the hotel.
What are the best current offers?
There are no current Ink Bold offers. There are several non-targeted Ink Plus offers for 50K, all for $5,000 spend in the first 3 months from account opening with annual fee ($95) waived for the first year:
What are the rules for transfering UR points to other users or to my own air/hotel/rail accounts?

My downgrade already went through, from Plus to Cash. No questions asked at all.

I'm trying to transfer my UR points in my Cash account to my Sapphire Preferred card. Except since it wouldn't let me do it online, I called a CSR to do it manually. Then he dropped the bombshell: UR points earned by the Cash card are not UR points. They can only be redeemed for statement credits at 1cpp. Hence, they can't be transferred to one's SP. Wow!

This guy is totally wrong, right?

Do you mean the Freedom card? If so you can transfer points online easily.

Downgraded my IP to IC cos with the lounge benefit taken away with $95 fee and no free primary rental coverage for personal trip, makes zero sense to keep it.
Hope I get the fee I paid in Dec refunded.

Clueless agent.

Try doing it online yourself and if doesn't work, ask help from Chase twitter support. Tell them this has been a problem for many customers and they must fix it. Ask for compensation for having to waste your time contacting them about this.

I just tweeted them. First time using twitter support. How long does it usually take for them to get back to a guy?

120 days from when the AF posts with Chase. You might still be Ok. Did you ask for the AF to be refunded?

Ok. You should be able to transfer the points online from the UR site.

Answer: 2 hours. I did suggest further compensation in UR points for my time. That includes not only this twitter conversation, which is ongoing, but also 2 SMs and 1 lengthy, unsuccessful CSR phone convo.

Did you know this thread exist?

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chase...-accounts.html

It has been a known, ongoing problem that Chase chooses NOT to fix it.

Read the thread on how to work around the website glitches.

Good luck in getting courtesy points from Chase who has become very stingy since many moons ago.

Got 1K courtesy points for my trouble, but the points haven't been transferred yet.

Chase business card: business name change

Has anyone ever changed the business name for a Chase business card? I'd contemplate doing this to avoid an additional credit check for new business card account, but then again I may not be able to resist the sign-up bonus

I know. Plus, the points haven't transferred yet. Sigh...

It's so wierd. It's like the points are being held hostage and can only be redeemed for 1cpp statement credits. I may have to just be content with that, I guess. I've done everything I know how to do. SM. Phone. Twitter.
