Correction time again. Wow, this get old…
I know what a passport card looks like thanks, never said I didn’t. I never said that SOP requires us to fetch you a manager if you request one. I said a supervisor, and I am correct.
Now, you chose to comment about something and were absolutely correct in your statement, as was I, but you made the same error I did and failed to notice that the “to” and “from” locations were outside of the US. Yet people chose to assault me for the error and not you, even after I pointed out the error, not even you. Care to comment on that?

Ron, perhaps you don't quite understand that for the overwhelming majority of FT posters, the LHR-HKG routing is recognized instantly as one that does not enter the US.
Most people, when joining an online community, would spend some time learning about it before throwing one's expertise around. You, on the other hand, have chosen to assert your "expertise" almost from the beginning.
Now, having been caught making an embarrassing mistake, you want us to give you a pass.
I'm not sure if you spend time here on your own accord, or because your employer has asked TSO's to start posting on sites like this one as a counterpoint to all the anti-TSA posts. If it is the former, I would recommend taking a little more care in asserting your expertise, until such time you have some. If it is the latter, I do sincerely feel sorry for you that your employer has sent you on a mission with so little training.

This thread is hilarious.

It does make a difference
). Who look for "signs" that "you might be a tewwowist." Your safety and my safety might depend on your awareness of airport codes. Example:Normal looking dude in a smurf blue shirt and black pants just like yours comes thru your TDC Blacklight Stand, and his carry on has one of those cute airport gift shop luggage tags. "I <heart> DEA". He hands you a local driver license for ID=Security™. In one second you must decide:
A. You nod and pass him, with a smile from one of the "Front Line in the Waw on Tewwow", to an obvious supporter of fellow badged agents
in the "Front Line in the Waw on Dwugs"B. You instantly SSSS him, tell your fellows to "give him the works", and silently call over LEO for backup just in case.
Time's up.
Correct answer is B. He bought his tag at the gift shop in one of his favorite frequent airports. On his way to visit OBL. For training.
You don't have to open a passport to see the history of someone's travels, it is often right there out in the open on his bag IF YOU KNOW THE CODE when seeing old stickers, even on checked bags you screen. If his tag says "CJL", be afraid,
be very afraid, shoot first, ask questions later.
If it says "KHI", either be afraid, or ask him if his "AI" rubbed off.

So, I'm now required to memorize the 3 letter codes for all 9495 airports around the world? You first, and let me know how that goes.

so....getting back to the ORIGINAL topic...
I need to check in my snooker cue.
Would it go down the same baggage belt as my suitcases? Only I am kinda worried it'll get damaged...
Or I wonder if they will take it as 'out of gauge' baggage ....
next question i have to ponder is whether to wrap it up in something, or just leave it as a locked case ....
damn why i do always get the difficult things to do ...
any one got a helpful clue?

All important part being whether or not it breaks down into smaller pieces.
