I've had friends transport cues with minimal problems. Do you have a nice case for it? If it breaks down to a reasonable size and fits in a fairly normal case you can actually put it inside another larger suitcase packed with clothing around it. The common 60"-all-around roller bag should fit it if i'm recall the size of the case correctly.

All important part being whether or not it breaks down into smaller pieces.
