The breakfast is actually a step back but the second meal served is a big improvement on the horrible chicken sandwich which has made me take lacto-ovo for amost a year now!

Agreed, a second GLA flight would be the preferred option for me too but the Emirates lady who's usually handling check-in and boarding at GLA told me EDI is likely to happen this year. Makes sense...

Could be tight, especially if there's no stand available and the plane taxis all the way to the far side of T1 (almost in Sharjah) and passengers are unloaded onto buses.
