Complaint letter after being charged the SEK 20:- for water (even paying with the black card) for the XX time.
Not that I canīt spend SEK 20:-, but Iīm trying to help these guys a bit with their service concept and I have noticed the EBP kind of kicks up more dust at CR than EBG.

Apart from domestic flight with a single P-class cabin, this is purely stupid from SAS! Pandion should just be booked into Y class whatever fare is paid and that would make the process much easier! In case the pandion is charged in P class, he needs to collect receipts, send them, SAS need to process them => a lot of wasted time/money for not that much! In case the Pandion does not pay, it feels strange for the other passengers that have to pay (without counting the inventory they certainly maintain with payment/food/drinks in order to have some controlling behind).
I believe that 95% of the pax who book and pay for Y+ do it because of flexibility/fast track/company agreement and not because of the infilght service so it will not have much negative impact on the yield anyway.

For sure for EBP but also with EBG. On my last four European flights in Y+ from CPH I have been almost alone in 8-10 rows while poor M-pax have been packed in the back. That is totally stupid.

The problem is that they don't care to move the dividers according to the load. Often you see 1/4 business, 1/3 eco-flex and the rest eco. Allocate enough space so that the eco-flex lot can have a free middle seat and then seat eco passengers in the rest of the cabin.

Always upgrading all EBGs to Y+ is not a wise move if you ask me. How to handle parties with one EBG? How to get EBG to book B? Should this be done at CI (making ASR worthless)?
I think SK should:
-Start use vouchers (Y+ upgrades, drink chits etc)
-Introduce complimentary coffee and soft drink for EBG travelling in BOB cabin if paying with a co-branded card (easy to handle the process for crew - this is done today for TPC, they get a small coffee cup sticker to put on the TPC card)

Good idea except that there shouldn't be a requirement to use co-branded card, simple EBG identification should be enough. Not all EBGs have co-branded cards and in some cases you cannot for example get a co-branded Diners card (DC will arrive without co-branding).

Excellent idea by SK_RSJ.
Especially the voucher part. It would be a very nice recognition to be given a couple of upgrade vouchers on renewing your EBG for example. And some more when reaching Pandion.
I have seen some other airlines do this.

Me self, OFFlyer and Tommy777 asked SAS EB about this last year, the response from SAS was that their own customer surveys didnt indicated that this was a feature which Gold members valued very high. You can find out more about our meetings with SAS EB by searching for focus group.

Bah, I hate vouchers - they tend to be left behind, lost or otherwise forgotten, when you finally remember to use them, there's no availability - or you end up racing to use them before they expire.
Give me complimentary upgrades, with some regularity, and I'm a happy chap Actually, with this years requalification SAS CEO claimed they were to increase the recognition shown EBP's. The weeks following, I was upgraded from M to Y and Y to C much more often, than the months before. Then sometime in May, this change seemed to be reversed and I hardly received any recognition; hell, I even ended up paying for coffee with my black MC or Diners on multiple occasions intra-Europe.
That said, we just flew to BKK on award trip in C. Not sure if we received any special in-flight attention, but landside we were greeted by a SAS ground-staff that escorted us through immigrations. Instead of having to queue up with the average Joes, we blasted through the VIP/CD counter with a smile, and were on our way with our baggage, long before the rest of the plane got to speak with the immigration officer. Now, if theyd only provide the same service in the US

I think you should definitely do that. We all know that the BOB purchases are not that expensive but the extra work will make SAS to think that something is wrong and they will make sure the policy works. If all EBPs would do that then in the end they would probably make sure the policy works 100%.

Was booked on a later flight out of CPH yesterday but arrived at the airport exactly 13 minutes before the earlier flight was to depart. 2 hours between ARN flights for the summer, so I rushed to the *G check-in. Lady of course said it was too late, flight was closed etc. Then suddenly: "Oh, you are Pandion" and she called the gate (or some function inside the airport, dunno). And asked me to rush to the gate.
The gate agent didnīt have a clue and did not want to handle my case, said it was too late. Then suddenly comes the "On Time Manager" (is that a new title at SAS? She had a badge with the title), took my EBP card and quickly handed me 1D BP but apologized there was no meal for me (was booked in C with Y+ cabin on flight).
Boarded last, door closed while I was still standing up and when I sat down the purser came to me and apologized for the misinformation at the gate regarding food and that I was absolutely to be served etc etc.
Pretty good experience.
