While I agree in part, I think SAS Sweden will get at least a little bit sympathy from the swedes by blaming the danish. Such is the way things are

They are working hard to keep the Intercontinental flights operational, but now SK909, SK910 and SK996 are all cancelled...

Rebookings are allowed on all other airlines in same service class as original booking for bookings for travel to/from CPH until 2400 25APR07.

larsll - I think that it would be worth a call to SAS to check if you can rebook your flight tomorrow already now. As EBG they may let you do it already now for them to avoid you experiencing problems tomorrow (happened to me previously).

I really feel for SAS in this case! It is unbelievable that CAU keeps doing this. How you can hurt your employer in this way is just beyond me!

Logic and reasoning are unfortunately not among CAU's abilities

They will let you rebook to LH with different routing. I would call them ASAP

Nope. Not yet apparently. Call LH (they issued the ticket) after 1400CET today the TA got told when calling them. To make it complex the backup route is CPH-VIE-SZG on OS. Lets see. But previous experience shows that the airline doesn't allow you to "get out of trouble" proactively, you have to get into trouble first.

Atleast booked a hotel Thursday - Friday. Not planning to sleep at the airport.

This is a problem when using a TA. When the SASBraathens FAs striked last year, I had no problems rebooking my ticket even if I wasn't in trouble yet and I did it early (not within the limits SAS had set for rebooking)

Well, I would need a full rerouting onto another carrier. (The only LH flight applicable would lead to a 8hr wait in FRA.)

Anyways... will call LH Denmark Reservation at 1400, and see what they say then.

Exactly my experience...
When holding a booking through SAS, they often do their utmost to actually help you (at least as EBG)! And this is why I still (with such a deteriorated service onboard) travel with SK and mostly do my bookings directly with them...

Which is allowed! First they will try to reroute on SK, then *A partners, then any other airline... So reroutings shouldn't be a problem either!

Latest information on http://www.sas.dk/da/Om-SAS-Danmark2...ger-/?vst=true is that almost all CPH flights today are cancelled. They are now listing the flights that are NOT cancelled.

I can buy a properly announced strike, but this one is not one that is announced by unions, and I can´t see why SAS denmark have to make these notices when the sisters in SE & NO not has the same problems , at least not officially. If SK cabin crew in Denmark feels so unhappy and employeer not listening, it might be time for the looking for another airline with better working conditions, ??
Have Ryanair crew ever been on strike ?

Just my point of view.

CAU has issued a brief statement that they do not support the action. Which is of course the position that they have to take.

I have some sympathy for the cabin crew's situation, but none for wild strikes.

Sorry, but IMO such a wildcat strike is plain stupidity! It hurts the employer, it hurts the customers, it definitely will hurt the employees! Nothing good will come out of this strike!

But I guess we won't see so much of it on the news - 'cause their on strike too!

If they were againts it would they have told their members to return to their duty, instead they just serve us another lie

Hopefully SAS DK will sue the striking F/As and make them pay.

Does SAS DK have the number to Proffice?

I am sorted.

Lufthansa Senator Hot-Line accepted the risk here, and gave me a backup booking on a LH operated CPH-MUC flight, and then ground transport MUC-Salzburg.

Being proactive, and with a golden card, helps in situations like this... ^
