Use SAS points to upgrade on Thai?

Dear learned gentlemen,

I am an EBG holder with lots of points. My employer has booked me on a Thai airways segment from Sydney to Bangkok in Economy. Am I able to use my SAS points to upgrade to Business? If yes, how should I do it (at the gate?)?

Thanks

As of now, there are no ways to use EB points to upgrade on Thai with points. SAS is planning to join the *Alliance upgrade system, but it has been postponed twice, the latest we've heard is autumn 07
