Less than 85 miles on a Stockholm-Malmo trip. (Just the amount for the credit card charge. ) The same trip using SAS flight would earn less miles for the flight but cost more, city to city.

Actually their new Frequent traveller programme looks quite promising!
You get 1 points per SEK spent on tickets and whatever you spend onboard!
So on a date I checked now in May a one-way Stockholm-Gothenburg in First Class cost 553 SEK one-way (506 SEK in 2nd class) and this would yield 553 points!

An award on the same distance costs 10 000 points in 2nd class and 12 000 points in 1st class.

So they beat Eurobonus hands down in this price range.

So you have to travel 20 times to get a free ride. With FFPs it can be 50-6 times depending on fare class.

Yes, that seems to be it for most people.

I sometimes get it down to 2-3 paid trips for an award trip on the same route.

That said, I do have to look into this SJ program and definitely look forward to promotions , if any.

If someone said in English that they were looking for Subway Central, I'd be amused. If they said in English they were looking for The Sluice, I'd probably roll around laughing.

CDG lounge

Haven't been in CDG for a while. Which lounge would you recommend? I am EBG flying C on SK to CPH.

Also see the various threads bouncing about regarding CDG in the *A forum, especially post #9 in this one:

I would like to know as well. The few times I've been at CDG i'vw always been running like crazy to get to the gate. A particular one-day saturday shopping-flight pops into my head (where we arrived at the terminal 4 minutes prior to departure and made it by shouting to the crew down the jetbridge....

Scandinavian Lounge @ARN until approx 10.00 (LH3001) if anyone is there.
