If integration was even remotely complete, lounge dragons wouldn't need to be up on the changes, because computer would "say yes". The fact that they need to manually override denied entry (which they may or may not be willing to do) suggests that there are either IT issues, or lack of contracts to allow lounge access.
Either way, as a SAS STE+ you're far from guaranteed to receive alliance benefits when flying other airlines, which is why I'm avoiding ST on flights where those benefits matter to me.

I just flew out of Copenhagen on JL5324, which is AF1151, in J. The SK lounge was quite happy to scan me to in to Business Lounge, and flashing my EBG got them to open the doors to the sacred halls upstairs. During the renovation of the CPH Apartment lounge, the SK lounges are a more pleasant place to spend the time.
Here is what I am looking forward to test, JL codeshare on Air France in Y gives me lounge access based on JL status. So if in Y, I am perfectly fine to get in to CPH Apartment, but can I use the SK lounge as well? Next time on that one....

An update from my side - I was denied access on my EBG STE+ in the International lounge in HAN on Tuesday 24th. They said they don't accept SAS STE+
So I then took out my ITA STE+ card (I gave them the option of Kenyan or ITA, and they chose ITA) and they accepted that no problem and I had access. I don't get why VN doesn't accept EBG for lounge access. Is it still to be integrated, or is not going to be integrated at all?

Not had any problems getting access as SAS Elite Plus with any of the 20+ lounge's I've visited during November and December.

Is SK enforcing the rule that skyteam elite + has no domestic lounge access when flying within a country now that it has left star alliance? It seems to make sas award 10000 points as opposed to SAS go award 5000 points a better value?
None of the PP lounge in CPH or ARN have a shower and there is no PP lounge in OSL.

What airlines are you flying with? That's probably what's making the difference, as contract lounge access is based on operating carrier's policy (and determined by its systems, unless the agent can be persuaded to override a computer saying no).

To answer some of the questions re: my HAN experience:
Firstly, I was flying VN from HAN-SAI in Y.
On the Boarding Pass, it said Sky Priority with SAS FF number - which gave me busines class check in. However, when I got to the lounge, even though it had Sky Priority and the SAS Gold number there, they told me I could not access the lounge as they did not accept SAS Gold yet.
Then I asked what they did accept. They told me STE+ - I told them SAS was STE+ but they wouldn't check it and just asked me to try the lounge next door as I could access that with PP. So then I offered them ITA and Kenyan STE+ cards. (all of my STE+ cards are from status matches). They accepted ITA, took my boarding pass and changed it so it no longer displayed SAS and printed a new version with the ITA FF number (first time in my life I have ever used that number). So I flew my one and only ITA-credited flight from HAN-SAI in Y just to get into the lounge (to be fair I had a 5hr layover there so getting into the lounge was worth it). I didn't particularly need the miles to credit to SAS, although would have been nice to have VN to add to list of ST airlines. But not a huge deal.
In short, this was Christmas Eve, the lounge was pretty empty and I have no idea why they wouldn't accept SAS or check it with someone - but it seemed like the lady checking me in may have been manager level as she was very sure of herself and of the 'rules' for the lounge - didn't check anything on their systems etc.

They can do it in 10 seconds.

Happens to me in Palm Beach, FL heading to ATL connecting to CPH. The PBI lounge scans the boarding card and then want to input my SKG number which really doesnt do anything. I have Amex Platinum that would work in the Delta lounge as well but I want to see if they can figure it out. I have done it 3 times. Once they figured it out and brought me my boarding card about 10 minutes later. The other 2 times I really think they gave up because it says Sky Team Elite Plus on the boarding card.

I’m a bit confused about the sky team lounge finder. If I search for JFK for example, SAS only shows up on the Air France lounge. Do I not have access to the other sky team lounges? If so it’s a massive downgrade from *A where we could lounge hop as much as we wanted.

The Star Alliance lounge finder is a bit the same, it will show airlines in specific lounges. But in practical terms you can use most Skyteam lounges similar to Star Alliance. Though there may be some practical terminal restrictions, as the JFK terminals are not connected airside. And you can't use the Delta One lounge.
