They accepted ITA, took my boarding pass and changed it so it no longer displayed SAS and printed a new version with the ITA FF number (first time in my life I have ever used that number). So I flew my one and only ITA-credited flight from HAN-SAI in Y just to get into the lounge (to be fair I had a 5hr layover there so getting into the lounge was worth it). I didn't particularly need the miles to credit to SAS, although would have been nice to have VN to add to list of ST airlines. But not a huge deal.
Next time, just ask the gate agent to change your FFP after the lounge, but before you board

They can do it in 10 seconds.
