The frequent flyer program selection is greyed out for me when I select "add frequent flyer program". I can only select my EB number. Bad IT....
So if I book a ticket now can I change the frequent flyer program later?

In theory yes, you can change that later, with an agent at checkin.

I have experienced the same error during the booking process.

Eventually, I had booked without FF details, but found that adding the details afterwards did work via the site.

I ended up booking on the SAS app where I could apply my EB and my wife's UA MP, the latter being a moot point since the flight is in early November. However, on the website I kept being stuck whatever I did. I just now saw that I can add FF numbers, even mileage plus. Yesterday this was not the case.
So kudos to SAS for having a good app....and now a good website
