Does that mean that Airbus and LAN has come to terms? And the wet leased 767 will soon be replaced by this plane?

Weird plane configuration CPH-ORD

Hi all, have a flight CPH-ORD-CPH in early April and just went in to double-check the seats the other day. Noticed that I had been moved from my pre-arranged seat - no worries there.
But then I noticed that the whole configuration was different than usual. Usually the M section on an SK A343 starts on row 23, and for a SK A333 (if they had an equipment switch) starts on row 20...
But on my flights on April 3rd (outbound) and April 8th (inbound) the M section starts on row 16. Emergency exits at row 24 (usually on row 31).
Anyone knows of an equipment switch - the SAS chat had no knowledge about this when I asked there...?

It's the new A340 that is coming from LAN Airlines that is expected to enter service later this month that is on your flights. The config is a little bit different than SAS and I don't think there is any official seat map published yet but it has pretty much retained the LAN layout

Wow that sounds very nice. Flew LAN a few years ago in C and their products is very nice - with 180degree flat beds. Lots of space. But I guess they will have to adjust the concept a bit? No buffet space for instance on LAN aircraft ...

It will, according to check-in.dk, take four round trips CPH-ARN on March 25 and 26 before entering IC operations.

DY observe and learn. Could you maybe learn something here. After yet another week of DY IC operations in turmoil.

Does that mean no EcoExtra on that config? (That's what I would guess if M starts in row 16.)

Does that mean that Go seats all have AVOD and 110 V?

LN-RKP (ex. CC-CQG) cabin photos

Ex. CC-CQG cabin photos. SAS keeps this configuration, so no PLUS cabin.

Hmmm, won't that be very hard for the fleet management and ticket sales?

You certainly don't want to downgrade a full Plus cabin to Go and pay compensation. On the other side how can they predict which routes on which day this aircraft will fly on the next 330 days?

I guess it should be cheaper to remove two or three Go rows to free up some space for Plus. The seat is the same anyway, they just need to move it a couple of cm.
