It is not a good idea to "hoard" the currency if you have reached $100 because:

1) there is usually a 30 days to 90 days before you can redeem for the 2nd redemption on the same type of award.
2) the miles can devalue as the latest HHonor redemption shows.

Happy I am not at 100 USD yet and that's why I want to wait to redeem. :-)

Non-response from e-rewards CS seems to be the new normal. I had a Hertz redemption in August that never posted. Back in September they at least replied that "we are looking into that and let you know as soon as possible" -you guessed right - nothing happened afterwards.

Since October, I didn't get any responses (aside from an automatic acknowledgement notification with phony case numbers) to any of the follow-up 3 inquiries sent via the contact form on the website.

They used to be better than this...

Did you ever end up getting your Hertz points?

e-rewards used to have very prompt customer service. Lately (for the past two months), I've noticed that it takes them 3-4 weeks to respond, but they ultimately respond.

I do like receiving a confirmation email with a tracking number once I've submitted a query on their website.

This is a real pain. For those of us who use e-rewards just to keep various memberships alive, the ideal situation is to hoard as long as possible and only transfer when we have failed to have other activity and some points/miles are closing in on the date when they would expire.

Same here. I just redeemed for HH at the old $100/7K rate for my late 2011 account. I thought my account was sponsored by AA but it might have been HH.

Nope. :td:

My follow-up requests just asked to credit back spent e-reward dollars. No answer to those requests either. :td:

Wow that is awful! Not good news. I asume you don't use them any more.

Has anyone else had problems with redemptions? Since a started in 2000 I have never had any issues. Fungirl I hope your case is isolated and it eventually is resolved.

E-rewards [Master Thread]

I took a father/ son survey a few weeks ago in which my father and I had to participate. The reward was supposed to be a $75 visa prepaid and $75 into my erewards account. Instead they decided to pay out $100 in ereward currency and $100 amazon gift card. Very awesome day! Thank you erewards!!!

Same here. Can't see expiration online for my account and send two messages without any response.

Well 3 weeks after my first email and I just received two responses an hour apart. It's like they just went back to work. But I am glad they responded.

And yes the answer in both emails was points currently do not expire as long as there is at least one survey answered in a 12 month period. That does not include redemptions as it does with airline miles.

This is good news. Now I can and I can wait until I really need to add the miles or points to an account rather then adding them to the hotel or airline account earlier then needed.

Same here. Just got the confirmation email today that points do not expire. I'm currently transferring to SW and there is no discount for transferring larger amounts, so I just transferred what I could. I assume they still have the only one partner redemption per quarter rule since it won't let me transfer more to SW, but I can't find it anywhere on the site. Any confirmation on this?

Whether or not you have redeemed an award in the allowed time period or not it will tell you in the Terms & Conditions listed right there after you re-enter your email and pw. I just tried it with United and it clearly stated under the "Redemption Limitation" section that it was allowed once every 30 days. (right before it told me in red lettering that I had redeemed in that time period so sorry).

I guess I missed that since I was looking for the actual T&C and I tuned the main screen out. Although you would think that it was also spelled out in the full T&C but I couldn't find it on that page. Anyway, so 30 it is. Thanks.

Finally got response:

" Your account is not subject to e-Rewards Currency expiring, as long as the account is active.
Participating in surveys will ensure your account is active.
If you require further information please see the terms and conditions on our website. "
