Maybe....when you are waiting for some to post and you are counting on those for a reward stay, and they aren't there for like 6 weeks....it gets old.

If there is no problem, most e-rewards redemptions post once a week, that is you have to wait 7 days at most. Only BA Avios post once per month. I haven't done IHG for a while, but it used to be once per week too.

Quick Question: Is there any US-Airways Invitation Link with some free Miles around?

You can check this on US Airway's site, partners pages, e-rewards. If there is a public invitation it will be there.
There should be one for AAdvantage miles now, and they should be merged with US Airways at some point.

Thank you! So, US'es Site only shows "by invitation only"....I guess, I'll go best with AA, right!?

If you're a member of the USA version of e-miles, it's now offering the possibility of joining e-rewards with 105 miles bonus, no invitation required. Plus, you will be able to transfer your e-miles to any participating airline or hotel co.!

Since when? The gift cards are still there, at least when I look at the list of rewards. Are you seeing something different? I'm talking about e-rewards, the main topic of this thread.

I recently redeemed 145 e-rewards dollars (I don't call them $ because they're not) for a $50 Starbucks gift card; the transaction was completed within a day (maybe faster, I don't remember). It was an e-code, redeemable online. Transferred it to my existing Starbucks card. Fast and painless.

Just a point of reference, I grabbed some Hilton pts to top off for an award, and they posted the next day. Maybe I got lucky based on the day of the week or date of the month.

I did some Club Carlson for the same reason and those have yet to post (although this was all done yesterday 3/3).

Further info: I've redeemed for Hilton pts previously and never for Club Carlson. I'm not saying this makes a difference, just wanted to give my info for reference.

Normally HH points post immediately, so if they took a day there must have been a glitch somewhere. At least you got them. tls

The Starbucks gift cards are still there for me as well.

I redeemed for Starbucks twice, about 5 & 11 months ago. It sounds like the redemption has really improved, because when I redeemed, it said it would take up to 30 days got get the GC's. However, 30 days came & went without getting the GC (both times), so I had to contact e-rewards. To their credit, they responded promptly to my inquiries, and I got the GC's about a week thereafter (ie, I got a physical card in the mail). I'd much rather have an e-code redeemable on-line, so am glad to see this is now available. bb

I have found the highest value for redemption being the gift cards. eR$70-eR$75 to get a US$25 gc. My wife and I saved our for about 15 months and were able to purchase a great video game bundle from GameStop to cover Christmas this past year. Good thing, too, as I am out of work. My heartburn is with the limit of redeeming that reward, which is currently only 2x/year/member.

Also got my wife some new lingerie using American Eagle/Aerie gift cards (and Shoprunnner via AmEx gives me free shipping).

I actually wanted to post today about something else. There was an announcement made that they have new magazine titles available for redemption. I hope that there is not one soul on this forum that ever redeems a magazine from e-Rewards. IF SO, YOU ARE THROWING YOU HARD EARNED POINTS AWAY. The same titles are all available from RewardSurvey, where you get RS$20 each week with a single 5-min survey. I have probably over the last year subscribed to 30 titles for myself (my poor letter carrier), plus multi-year subscriptions (by stacking them using the same spelling for the recipient, name) for all my family members. I have more RS$ than I know what to do with. I even called my local library and schools to see if they would accept gifted subscriptions, but they wouldn't (not sure why not...). If you can't figure out how to get that deal, please let me know and I will post a link.

If anyone wants a magazine subscription, free, no strings attached, please PM me and I can send you the list of available titles.
