Thanks OP.

No e-mails needed. Arrived and worked without a problem. The dark roast tasted OK - I think I can get to like this contraption!

Wow, ordered it yesterday, Sunday night, and here Monday I have gotten the notice from DHL that it is already on it's way. Really surprised me but hey, I used to work for DHL. If it comes into San Diego tomorrow, I should get it from the post office on Wednesday, not bad for $15.

Oh and I also submitted no ones email addresses, although I have already told about 20 people of the offer. One friend is ordering one to set next to his bed.

Got mine today, so far it works perfect. Also found an adapter filter at Wal-Mart made just for this pot to use your own coffee, $8. Off to my caffeine buzz now.

I did this and got it 4 days later!
It arrived 3 days later but the post office didn't notify me until the next day that I needed to come pick it up.

It ships via DHL@Home which DHL gives it to the USPS and leave the notices and final delivery to USPS

Thank you for the heads-up - this machine works great.

Like Steph3n, I tracked the delivery to us, and it took DHL two days to get it to Austin, and the USPS took four days to get it to us. Your government services at work.

I qualified after only providing my own email. It shipped out the next morning, but it took almost a week to arrive. What a deal!

Thanks OP, I did receive mine too. There are two things that I have a "gripe"
with. The first is that if you push the "one cup" button, the normal size mug
that I use only fills it up to 1/2 a cup. Does anyone else have this problem?
So, I have to do 2 cups to get a mug size cup of coffee. Again, it's not a big mug, just a normal cup that you can buy at souvenir shops etc.
The other thing is that for it to taste like a good strong cup of coffee, you need to put in two pods and two cups to make one cup.

I recall seeing discussion from other sites that Senseo's cup measure is more "European" than American. That's why you are getting like 50% "output" in American standard. Just adjust your expectation accordingly.

If you want to make stronger coffee using the pods, read the posts in the sites/blogs/posts I had referenced in post #26. Other than sharing how to make home-made pods, I recall there are tips about adjusting temp and coffee strengths when using the machine. Or just google it, you should find others' sharing their Senseo passion (or hatred ).

I got one for my 80 year old Dad in his motorhome and he loves it - and as a natural born tinkerer (engineer) he figured out how to make it stronger. Use the 2 pods (with the 2 pod adapter) and make 2 single cups (which fills a mug). For some reason it comes out MUCH stronger than using the 2 cup setting. Made that way it's pretty darn good....! I like milk in mine and if I put the milk in first it makes a great frothy top too.

I did this deal and here's a caveat. First of all, the coffee is very frothy. Second, it's very expensive per cup. You can make a pot for about what you spend on one cup.

YMMV...........

It arrived today -- 6 days after ordering. You do not get choice of colors, mine was red. There are some changes/improvements over the one I bought a few years ago. The main one is the edge on the metal drain plate is now rounded. The original version was so sharp it would cut you. I sent them an an email about it and they said they take such complaints very seriously.
