I recall seeing discussion from other sites that Senseo's cup measure is more "European" than American. That's why you are getting like 50% "output" in American standard. Just adjust your expectation accordingly.
If you want to make stronger coffee using the pods, read the posts in the sites/blogs/posts I had referenced in
post #26. Other than sharing how to make home-made pods, I recall there are tips about adjusting temp and coffee strengths when using the machine. Or just google it, you should find others' sharing their Senseo passion (or hatred
).
