10-25% off Senseo Pods at Amazon through 3/31/08
Thanks OP! I ordered a couple. Pretty obvious the answers they want. Anyway, if anyone wants to order some of the pods, they're 10%-25% at Amazon. Order $25 to get the free shipping too. Make sure to pick eligible products. I'm not into auto ship and bill but the single time 10% off was nice:
Senseo: Save up to 25%
Save 10% today after an instant rebate when you buy any eligible Senseo coffee pods, tea pods, and flavorings. Use the following promotional code when you check out: SENSEO25. Isn't there a device that will let you make your own pods?

I just found this product on the net, http://www.taylorgifts.com/prodetail~itemNo~26541.asp
Haven't found anything on the net about anyone using it in the senseo yet though, but it looks promising.

There are. I use these and enjoy the coffee from them. However, cleanup can be messy, and you need to use the 2-cup pod holder.
A tip for better coffee in the Senseo. When you first turn it on, run a cup of just water, without the pod. The water doesn't necessarily heat up completely for the first cup, so it tends to be weaker. If you run a cycle of just water, the water for your actual cup of coffee will be hotter.

In terms of Senseo pods, I did some research back in 2006 when they were giving the machine away for free. There are quite a few websites/blogs that guide you step by step making your own pods. Some folks prefer using their own coffee, instead of the pre-packed pods. You get to choose how "advanced" or "experimental" you want to be

Yes. Right now, I use Hawaiian coffee (go over there and get it a few times a year), which is better than any coffee I've ever gotten around here. So, given the reviews of the Senseo coffee pods, it's certainly preferable to me to get the refillable ones, in which I can put my coffee. But paying $11 for two filters seems a bit much to me. Especially since I guess that I won't be getting much more than 50-100 cups out of a filter before I have to replace it. I'd rather find a deal for, say 15 filters for $30 or something like that.

Just saw through Amazon (again) the "perfect pod filters" that go for just over $22 (inc'd delivery) for 120 filters (and 3, five-star reviews).
Check out the "perfect pod maker" gizmo, seems excessive for $40.
