Maximum points for a given game
[The above refers to the number of points one can get before maxxing out on a game like Chicktionary.]
I seem to have maxxed out on Spelling Bee at 19,512. (LSC has been telling me for weeks that I've completed all the available puzzles.) This may be because I started playing before learning about getting help from anagram solvers. I typically earned 17 or 18 out of the maximum 20 points. If the people maxxing out at 22,500 earned 20 points every time, then they would have played 1125 games. 19,512/1125=17.3, so I've probably played the same 1125 games.
Which makes me wonder how the folks who got to 35,000 before maxxing out managed it. Perhaps they got their points before LSC started imposing maximum limits. Or perhaps, like Matt Lauer, these games have been 'devalued'. Does anyone here know if there was a time when these games were worth more than 20 points? Might they have started out worth one point per word, and thus had a maximum score of 35?

OK - It's stupid question time....but it's a Monday so what the hey.
I was always ending my 'day' at 7 pm central time. However, with the time change this past weekend my central time zone 'day' appears to end at 6 pm? Anyone know if this is correct? I started tonight around 6 (did none yesterday - shame on me) and expected to get about 700 or 800 before 7. Then I kept on after 7, expecting to do my 1000 for the new day. However, at about 7:15 I got the message stating I had met my daily limit. Am I guessing correctly in that during the winter months now the day would run 6/6 Central vs. 7/7???

Thanks for turning me on to flexicon. It really is an easy way to get tickets. That is one game I'd been ignoring but no more.
