Still waiting for my two airline vouchers.

I'll rephrase my question: Are there any hotels in the promo that anyone would highly recommend?

I have a lot of flexibility, so I'm looking for a really nice getaway.

I got in on the Kohls/Docker (2 free-hotel-nights deal). Not heard of anything, called them and put on hold for more than 1/2 was told to wait 2 more weeks,
filed BBB against Kohl's.

i'm not sure if it is what you have in mind, but I am looking at the Washington DC hotels such as the JW Marriott. Some nights there run $300-$400. That seems like good value to me.

The brochure - Dockers

Sorry for the late post.
Yes, the brochure is the size of 8.5" x 11" folded into half. Very slick and printed on heavy glossy paper, and with color.
Essentially it is a guide, listing ALL hotel properties by State. It has 2-pages of T/C. It tells you HOW to make a reservation (in 4 simple steps). To make reservation, one uses the form (one page in the brochure), called FREE HOTEL BREAK BOOKING REQUEST FORM.
You are to fill in 3 choices of hotels and 3 preferred stay dates. You can figure out the permutation thereof. Plus some personal stuff including credit number. You send that form in, and you will be contacted within 14 days (so says on the brochure) to confirm availability and other details.....
Hope this help.

My wait is all declared OVER!
Forgot to mention that the whole process from sending in my purchase proof to receipt of the Docker brochure (for booking hotels) is about 12.5 weeks.

Don't despair. We finally got our "packet" in the mail today.

I had called several times to check on the status. Was never put on hold that long, but was always told they were running way behind in processing the promotion entries.

Does anyone know what happens if none of your 3 hotels / 3 dates are available? Since you've sent in the one request form that comes with the booklet, do they then send you a new request form or you SOL?

It sure would be better if all of this could be handled on-line also. Set up log-in name/password and make requests.

That would defeat the purpose of the breakage, the more steps they put in the process the harder it is to claim your reward.

On a completely different note does anyone know anything about the two dinner entrees? The TOS just says that the "reservation process varies from hotel to hotel."

Red face

Mine was received yesterday, as well as my friend's...! Will be curious to hear 'results' after people start sending off their forms...

I don't have an answer since I have not yet sent in my request. I would make a clean copy of the request before I submit one. Just in case I need to send in my second request (or third).

I sent in my request form about 4 weeks ago.
Yesterday I called and waited half hour.
The rep could tell me nothing- just wait.
Today I received an automated message saying that the rep would call me within a week.

TLC's Weekend Getaway booklet states "The promoter and TLC give no guarantee that the hotels will be available for your preferred stay dates." I assume that, during the phone call that TLC will make to you, they tell you the bad news and then push you to accept whatever hotel / motel and dates they suggest...at that point you have no leverage, since you already sent in the request form.
