Birthday Redemption
Hello,
Congrads to those who had UCONN. I am pulling for them to win, as my predicted teams are out of the play offs. My Coke Rewards stated that I may have birthday redemption coming to me. I have been a member less than a year, so I am not sure how to redeem the gift or if there is a gift to redeem. Can anyone help me with this? -Sandra |
I've also got a UConn piece! $50 gift card! Nice!
But yeah, I read the fine print last night ... if they win, one of the 7,500 of us wins the trip the finals in '15. The $50,000 is ONLY for someone who had a #1 seed piece. Since there's not a #1 in the final, Coke gets to keep in the money. I think they should give something to the 7,499 of us... but that's not what the contest says. |
UCONN = 7500 game pieces
UK = 2062 game pieces Championship game winner = 1 - $50,000 prize winner will be drawn 6 - Final 4 2015 trips will be drawn (the FAQ's actually say up to 10 trips, but the Official Rules say 6). And there is still a $10,000 sweepstakes winner drawn as well. --------- I am still alive with both teams.:cool: |
Does the number of game pieces in the fine print actually equate to the number of people who had entered the UK/UCONN codes. In other words, were some of these 10,000 game pieces never entered in the sweepstakes?

Your chances of winning would most likely not go up/down significantly with either construct. |

My Coke Reward Points [Master Thread]
Could somebody comment on this?
The Mobile "Play the Coke Zero Bracket Challenge" page says, exactly: "If your team advances to be the winner, you win $50k OR VIP trip to the 2015 NCAA Men's Final Four" and also on a different page it says "Don't have a #1 seed? Don't worry- if they win, you win a VIP trip to the 2015 NCAA Men's Final Four" So if Uconn wins tonight, 7,500 Uconn entries win the VIP trip? Uhmmmmm .. Comments appreciated |

Depends: was every cap at the factory coded to a specific team or, upon entry, did every cap get randomly assigned a team until all slots were taken?
Having qualified for a team, when you clicked to play the March Madness game, the team you received was selected at random. So, as I understand it, they gave out the team entries until all were gone. Or, to put it another way, as sannmann says, there are 7500 UConn and 2062 Kentucky entries out there. |

But two pages state differently, one page even saying you win $50k OR (in capital letters)- VIP trip. No ****, nothing. Just an observation

My reading of the "official rules" leads me to believe that not all entries will actually count as entries....
"If a #2 Seed team wins the Tournament, there will be 7 Game Pieces which correspond to that team. Administrator will conduct a random drawing to determine which of the 7 participants with those Game Pieces will be the potential winner of the Championship Game Grand Prize and the other 6 participants will be potential winners of the Championship Game First Prizes. If a team seeded #3 or lower wins the Tournament, the Administrator will conduct a random drawing to determine which participant with 1 of those Game Pieces will be the potential winner of the Championship Game Grand Prize and which 6 other participants with one of those Game Pieces will be potential winners of the Championship Game First Prizes. The remaining holders of those Game Pieces will not receive any prize related to the Championship Game." I'll be waiting for my email on April 9 or thereabouts. :) |
