Been a while....what happened?

I stopped drinking soft drinks about 5 months ago, so I have really cut back on the caps/codes that I had.

I had a couple sitting here, so I entered them today and thought I'd check on cashing them out.

Is it just me or have the items offered by MCR gone straight to Hell? I could find VERY few things that remotely interested me, and the few that did seem like the rate to exchange points for them has skyrocketed.

I haven't checked this thread in a few months, so maybe I missed it, but was there a massive devaluation of MCR points?

Does anyone object to me deleting the Coke Zero twitter double promo from the Wiki? Since the promo has expired, it might be helpful to de-clutter the Wiki.

Also, for those of you that have more than 1 account per household, do you use separate browsers, or do you need to go to to a different location to access the internet? Or does it not matter as long as you're under 5 accounts per household? Thx tls

IMHO

Yea, I agree Coke Rewards has gone downhill over the last year or so.

I think they planned on cancelling it but reconsidered and decided it was still a good marketing tool .... but, unfortunately, as you stated, they devalued a lot of the rewards and, even more unfortunately, got rid of many that we found valuable.

Since my wife and I still drink some Diet Coke, etc at home; I still enter those 12 packs/cases and redeem every once in a while. Still worth that minimum effort. And, once in a while, the Wednesday redemption specials are worth redeeming ....ymmv.

The Mello Yello movie ticket promo (recently expired?) was well worth it, but, generally, I'd agree that there aren't too many MCR deals. Maybe re-balancing the March Madness low-seed winners debacle?

About multiple accounts....
IME, you can access multiple accounts from the the same computer/house with no problems. The issues MCR seems to pay close attention to (other than 1 per individual, 5 per household, minimum 13 yrs old, unique email address) are similar/same names, similar/same birth dates, and changing a mailing address during redemptions.

Great Deals can still be had. There are some good Wednesday Deals and at times excellent gift card offers come along. Also there were some decent discounted offers from the "Summer Catalog". Many members got a really good deal on Theme Park tickets this summer.
The thing is, you just have to keep checking and a terrific deal will come your way.

No ROO points from the 5 powerade caps I used 2 days ago. That is the first time powerade did not give me any bonus points. I'll try 4 green & grey caps with one powerade tonight and see if I get 12 or 15 bonus points posted on Wednesday.

I was under the impression that it has to be 20 oz carbonated drink. All my bonus points have been posting fine.

That's what the rules say but I have been getting Roo bonus points on powerade since day 1. It is possible they fixed the glitch
