I understood that. I wasn't being a jerk suggesting you had not read, I was just suggesting that perhaps it was a regional offer for the WM codes, i.e. the UPCs were unavailable in certain parts of the country like where your account was registered. Like the ROO campaign. Perhaps that was a stupid idea, but did want to let you know I wasn't being an a$$.
As the the hotel gift card discount. The gift card was recently 'selling' for 100 points so the Wednesday deal discount was only 30%. I guess they never changed the image since the July deal  |

Note: "2 night minimum stay", so that makes it $25 a night at an inflated rate, for sure.

Pizza UPC: We're maxed out! Maximum Entry Limit reached.
I tried entering the the Pizza UPC (0068113171534) while on the cokezerorewards website.... the website responded:
We're maxed out! Our members made this promotion so popular that we have reached the maximum entry limit. |
The 25 points for a $2 Amazon MP3 credit isn't a bad deal, I've been wanting some new songs anyway ^

"Roo": You've Reached the max Bonus Points for today
FWIW, "Roo" just gave me a "You've Reached the max Bonus Points for today" message when I tried to use it.
It was the first code I had attempted to enter today. I have already entered 15 3-pt cap codes this week, so apparently there is now a limit on how many "Roo" bonuses you can earn. |

It's nice to see Coke is capable of coding a website that returns an error message that actually makes a bit of sense... Sorry to say, but you've enter [sic] the maximum amount of Bonus Points this week. Hang on to those, because the Weekly Points Tracker resets Monday at 12 a.m. ET. This despite the fact that I entered the other two Walmart UPCs and they went through without a hitch. BTW, I had made no code entries in September until today. They must have fired the programmer who blamed Coke instead of the customer for this problem. Otherwise, why would the message change from one that made sense to one that did not? |
MCR Devaluation: 1 MCR point is now only worth 1.5 cents (for USO Donations)
On the MCR site, there are three USO donation rewards described as:
Lift their Spirits, Watch Yours Soar Keep our troops connected with their loved ones back home. The USO lifts the spirits of America's troops and their families through highly valued programs, morale-boosting services and engaging entertainment. Join the USO in supporting our troops by donating your My Coke Rewards points today! 35 point donation equals approximately $.525 in value So, Coke now values 1 MCR point as being worth 1.5 cents. That is an astounding devaluation from March 2007, when Counselor pointed out that 1 MCR was worth 8 cents.70 point donation equals approximately $1.05 in value. 140 point donation equals approximately $2.10 in value. |
