Response from MCR
The response to my question regarding the DL 500-mile error message was as follows:
"Dear wsflyer, Our Technical Support team is aware of the "Out of Stock" error message and we are working in cooperation with the appropriate management to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We thank you for your patience." I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. |

Is this card usable for basically anything at Blockbuster, i.e. can you use it to buy used DVDs? Might be worth redeeming in that case, assuming I can find any DVDs I actually want. :)

The last time I had a Blockbuster gift card from a hotel stay promo, I stocked up on microwave popcorn and coke. It lasted quite awhile!

Looks like it is good for anything Blockbuster sells. Hopefully, it is good for the Netflix like subscriptions Blockbuster offers.

I hope they do a better job of stocking this time. If we could clean them out in 3 weeks, and if people like me are still going to enter codes in anticipation, I imagine we could clean them out again if they aren't careful
I understand your point but there is another way to look at how quickly they were exhausted. Remember, the DL awards, and then the meaningful Hilton awards after them -- were exhausted, as I recall, rather rapdily last time. I am sure that my behavior was no exception in that I was husbanding my points for the launch of the new rewards, especially since we received word that the points would be permitted to be carried over into this new launch year. Therefore, there were likely many people like me that were just itching to redeem alot of points at the get go. I have now largely drained my available stock of points, so that if and when the rewards are re-introduced, they likely will last for a bit longer -- so long as the amount of new DL awards equals the amount they had when the new program was launched about a week ago. In any event, two things should be learned from the above -- if not from the earlier experience -- redeem as soon as possible for there is no reason to wait to redeem a 5,000 mile award when you can do in a sequential manner up to 10 500 awards since there is no Coke point discount for doing so, and second, there will be more DL awards at some point, which is more than there was last time around. ^ |
Has anyone opened an account for a family member in order to enter more than the 10 codes a day? Would this have to be done on a different computer or isp, or does it matter as long as the email addresses are different? Mom has a Delta account too and we have alot of codes to enter.

JudyJFLA And if you're really trying to enter a lot of codes, remember that you can open a MCR account for someone in the family even if they don't have a Delta account--after all, you will get an award code that will be deposited into the Delta account of your choosing. You could open a MCR account in a grandparent's name if that grandparent has an email address. You could set up a Yahoo account solely for this purpose. Then when the Delta codes come in, just deposit them in whatever account is appropriate. (Assuming, of course, that grandma isn't already accumulating Delta miles for herself. ;) ) |
The 100pts/500 DL mile award has left the building....
Hopefully only temporarily. |
Any promo for Coke's 121st birthday? It's today....

This is the answer I received from them:
XXXXX, Thank you for contacting MyCokeRewards.com. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us regarding this issue. It would be difficult to speculate on the future availability of a reward but the website is updated daily, so we suggest that you check back often. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us again. Sincerely, Brittany |

JudyJFLA Confirming what others have posted. This question can be answered by clicking the "rules" link at the bottom of any page on the MCR web site. What they prohibit is the opposite behavior: multiple people consolidating codes into one account. Nothing in the rules prohibits multiple "enrollees" in one household. To directly answer your question: Yes. That's how the beloved Harpo and I accumulated enough sonystyle gift certs for a new camcorder just in time for Christmas, not to mention new walking shoes with shopadidas certs (all bought via AAdvantage retail partners of course). Want to see the ones and zeros of the Zeppette at Disney World? |

Has anyone actually redeemed one of the pirate offerings? I had enetered the code and chose the pirate book but the site gave me an error message and kicked me off. When I checked the status it justs says offered. Does this mean the reward may still be coming? Any response would be appreciated.
