Has anyone used the FTD "discount" reward from My Coke Rewards? On United (and others of course) you can earn 25 miles for each dollar spent at FTD. Is there a minimum purchase price? The reward details are unclear and no amount is listed. I'd like to somehow turn my Coke points in to miles, this seems like a good way to transfer but I'm concerned about the fine print on the actual reward once received.
The details are kind of fuzzy because it was a while ago (and I'm not 100% sure it was FTD) but since it is a "discount" and not a "gift card" I would expect there could be similar issues. |
Thanks, I was afraid of that. The wording was sketchy, now I see why.

If you can stand Chili's you can now get a $5 gift card for 140 MCR points.
You can also redeem 140 MCR points for a $5 Chuck E. Cheese Gift Card. |
Guy at work brought in McDonalds for lunch and the cup had a MCR logo on it. Looks like you can win MCR points from this year's edition of their Monopoly promotion. I don't know the specific on how many points you can win.

But what difference does it make how we can get more MCR points if they can only be redeemed for crap? |
It looks like they took away bonuses for opening new accounts. If that's the case and it stays like this permanently then this thing has just become completely worthless.
UPDATE: I just opened another new account and got a lousy bonus offer of 10 points. I guess I'll just accumulate MCR points until they come back with decent bonuses for new accounts (I remember last year they had an offer of 75 bonus points for new accounts. It didn't last long though.). |
Thanks Yanxfann & PG for the tip on Chili's GCs! After I grab these, I will lose what little interest I still have in MCR. I already have lost any drive and desire to diddle with caps. Mine sit in a bag until I need a few points but have no carton codes @ 10 or 20 points.
Foxberg, now that there's no head start toward the 160, U should start building up your existing accounts to 630 to grab a PC 2K from each one ;) ! |
From the Monopoly site:
"My Coke RewardsŪ Points: Points are awarded in thirty (30) point bundles and must be posted into your account (existing or new) by 11:59 pm ET on 11/30/10 and used by 11:59 pm ET on 12/31/10. My Coke Rewards (the Program) open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. and D.C. ages 13 and older. Points have no value outside the My Coke Rewards Program and can only be redeemed for rewards in the Program. Subject to Rules found at mycokerewards.comŪ." |
So are the 2000PC points a once in a lifetime thing? I cant purchase 500PC points either.

They seem to be giving them away pretty easily. I've won 120 points so far and I only have ~10 of the stickers from McDonalds.

Sucks about the sign-up bonus. I didn't get MCD codes nearly so easily. Eight codes, only one got me 30 points. Mike |

Unfortunately, it doesn't offer the same "multiple-account" advantage that Wendy's did.
Thanks. |

Does it mean they don't let you reuse the code on another account?

McDonalds Monopoly increases limit from 5 win to 25 wins
Due to error, I have contacted 10/5 and received notification on 10/13 from McDonalds online support and Mycokerewards indicating that changes have been made to reflect redemption maximum from 5 wins (each 30 points) to 25 wins. That increases your chance to increase your account from possible maximum of 150 mycokerewards points to 750 points. (Still not enough but much better than origianl 150 maximum points.)
jiburi I had 7 wins on day one where this problem occurred with no details about its limit on both websites. |
