Thanks!

It has nothing to do with cookies. If you account already has a redemption in the history you will not be able to redeem another one from the same account.

Just for a trial, I had an account that had enough points that has not been used in a while due to the restrictions. The account has had multiple 500 and 2k point redemeptions. I try it each time and up until today I had not beem able to redeem but today I was able to wipe out the points and redeem a 2K.:D

Well, then maybe they have a time limit or something. I never tried to redeem twice from the same account though.

I only opened three accounts this weekend :(

Holy Crowne Plaza, Ktremor! I'll have to try that with my own account which can reach 630 tomorrow. I redeemed a 500 & a 2000 this spring.

Here are my reward activity for this year for the account in question....

January 2010- 2-2000 points, 1-500 point
May 2010- 1-500 point
August 2010- 1-2000 points

This wiped out the account balance for this account and I have moved onto other accounts.

The real news to be posted would be when MCR reverses its ridiculous restrictions on award redemption. Until then, we're just re-hashing information that has previously been reported.

Brendan Aug 23, 2010 3:32 pm

Aha, Ktremor! In January there was NO limit on getting PC points. Then they went OOS for a while & returned in April or so with the 1 per lifetime restriction :td: !

MCR Multiple Accounts

Be careful; the PC reward # can easily be traced back to the MCR account
it came from.

That said, if you (or anyone else) bothered to read the MCR rules you'd find the exact information that allows MCR participants to hold multiple accounts per household BUT (suppose to be different people although doesn't state that) :D -- it just state the number of MCR email accounts for one household that is allowed.... ^

I've got more than my share so I'm not kickin' for the moment.

The likeihood of them removing the restriction on PC point rewards are nil as MCR marketing knows most of our tricks by now and moving to tighten the good stuff like PC point rewards even tighter.

Yet, for the "bright ones" there's always will be a workaround until the day that MCR replaces it with some worthless junk or cheap coke product advertising stuff like they did when they stopped Delta sky-peso mileage rewards.

I have been targeted to Crack the Case of PC, so that should supply me with plenty of PC points for use next year. It's another reason to lose interest in MCR.

Well, thanks, but all my accounts are/were at different "households".

I just logged in to enter 120 points for the new week. The PC 2000s are already GONE--not listed at all, not even as OOS!
BTW, Foxberg, I believe Devildawg means that PC can audit your account if someone there wonders how U got 75K since the 2.5K limit per MCR account started. It will smell mighty fishy that 30 of your friends/ relatives each opened up an MCR account just to give U 2500 PC points, then "forgot" all about the MCR program :D !

A voucher is a voucher. Someone can give it to me, I can buy it, I can win it, I can pick it off the tree if it grows on it. As long a voucher is legit (not stolen or computer generated) PCR would not care either way since they are not paying for these vouchers - MCR does. So whether it's me or an uncle John these vouchers have all been accounted for by PCR. OH, yeah, and I've called PCR numerous times regarding different issues - even inquiring about offers that I registered and wasn't targeted for.

I have also been targeted for "Crack the Case", but I still got my 2000 PC points before they went OOS. This is on an account that recently got two 500 pt and also from about two years ago, a 2000 pt redemption. Even though C the C may generate up to 176,700 bonus points, I still think it is still best to get from every source possible. This is how I earned over a million PC points. The low value in PC redemption on MCR has always been a problem for me, but there is nothing else on MCR I am interested in since they dropped Delta and Hilton. I'll save up for one more 2000 PC pt redemption on another account and then drop MCR altogether.
