If I were a betting man I'd wager that your three attempts were from the same IP address with your one win coming on your very first try immediately followed by the two failures, is that right? I have no scientific info to back me up but I'm led to believe that if you submit multiple attempts within an as yet to be determined short period of time from the same IP address their system will reject the non-first attempts.
And yes, only one 30 point code from this promo per MCR account. |

2. Enter your email address and the Wendy's Cup Code of 329492855844 3. Fill out your personal info on the next page 4. Play the spinning wheel game on the next page, if all goes well you will win and a code worth 30 MCR points will be emailed to you within a few minutes NOTE: Maybe it's a coincidence but whenever we entered a valid address/phone # in Step 3 above we won the spinning wheel game, however whenever a bogus address address/phone # was entered we didn't win (i.e. got the "Try Again" result) |

It is random with an odds of success imbedded in the software code. SOP in online gaming of all kinds. That said, online games will tweak the odds now and then to keep people hooked. That is, improve the chances of success for a day or so, then drop it back to standard. Experience posted in this thread makes clear that one's first attempt has a random chance of success. As does second. And third, etc. The only question is, what are the odds? If you can manage it with a simple formula, why waste expensive developer time messing with IP addresses? Which is fraught with glitches anyway. |
Five rocks for me.
Gave valid info the first time, then bogus the next four. Tried from a second computer after four failures. |

I'm sort of new to this MCR thing (as a regular Coke drinker, don't know why I didn't sign up years ago). Anyway, I'm 1 for 3 on this winning the 30 points through this Wendy's promotion. Two questions - will the code work for a win again and do I need to redeem these 30 points for the 20 oz. bottle or is that just a suggestion, and I can really let my points just accumulate in my account? Sidenote - do MCR points expire?
30 points are 30 points, just added to your account to use as you please. Points expire after a period of inactivity, don't recall what it is. The MCR site has terms and FAQ sections and I'd advise a beginner to read them. Also might look at this post and see if any of the old bonus codes still work. I'd be curious to see if they do, so I hope you will try it. Finally, the email listed in post #177 of this thread can be useful if you have any illegible codes. [email protected] Send what the code looks like to you, roughly when you got it, and say you forgot where you bought the product. They usually, but not always, post the points to your account and it will not count against your weekly limit of 120 points. (bonus points, such as the Wendy's promo, also do not count toward the weekly maximum) |

Logged into MCR and had 3 more points than the last time I logged in. Says it's a "Coca-Cola Classic 20pk Point Adjustment". Anyone one else see anything like this?
|
AA, I remember entering a 20-pack code several months ago & getting 17 points. Perhaps MCR has decided that we deserve 20 points after all & so are now giving the adjustment.
I just check my family's accounts for this. 2 of us have a 1-point  (??) adjustment! |
The spin worked for me, thanks for posting!

+1
Shanks! |
Thanks. Got the 30 points.

Thinking Coke Marketing Promos affecting Taste

Chances are the coke has been skunked,it is the same as beer, if the store keeps it in extremely hot condition, it changes the taste to be flat, it has a lower shelf life depending on the temp. Now I am the worst at science, but I THINK heat speeds up the molecules and it causes it to go flat faster, but there may be other reasons.
Now for Barqs, I prefer AW since it taste more like root beer should to me. Barqs slogan "it has bite" means the difference is it is the only one with caffeine, so sometime I need the caffeine and will choose it based on that :D The product does NOT stay long on the sheveles of the large chain grocers to "flatten out" -- in fact, often they need double-deliveries of multiple pallets of Coke products just to try keeping up with the extra demand when these type of sales hit. Especially in warm weather. My thinking is that they are not keeping to formulae in manufacturing product in some of the regional Coke plants, or affliated soft-drink distributor/manufacturing facilities.... I remember when the firsst "LIGHT" beer came out eons ago (Eslinger) which was a Dawson's/Knickerbocker product before the company splintered and sold off to the likes of Coors... Did you know a lot of brands like Coors etc are not the same as their original formulae when the product was made in the original branded plants? Alot of stuff now is "farmed out" to franchised bottlers... so in some areas it can taste really good and in other regions can taste like watered-down dog-pee....:rolleyes: |

For those who are interested in the facts, I have an account in which I redeemed a 500-point PC reward from MCR in October 2009. Today, I cashed out another 500-point PC reward from MCR and added it to my PC account.
It seems that my "lifetime" is limited to when PC changed the rules as I thought might be the case and as other informed posters had previously postulated. They keep changing the rules. It was almost unlimited quantity availability for the longest of time until they went out of stock. Then it was 2 limit per 60 days. Somewhere I remember a once-a-month rule. Now (if one is playing the MCR "game" STRAIGHT, it's down to one only period per email account per lifetime of participant. There is another interesting item within strict context of the MCR rules, but there's no need to expand upon it, as those who bother to read the fine print of the rules can figure it out without my need to elaborate upon the matter. Anyhow, for those such as yourself, myself, and our other good friends on FlyerTalk that can manage to gather the extra -- all the best wishes and good fortune, and good luck.:D |
