Anyone else notice a devaluation today? I normally transfer to Southwest at a 1:1 ratio. This is what is looks like now:

Rapid Rewards Points

500 = 650 Points
1,000 = 1,300 Points
1,500 = 1,950 Points
2,000 = 2,600 Points
2,500 = 3,250 Points
3,000 = 3,900 Points

Yikes?

I typically redeem for United or IHG on e-miles, and there was no devaluation for either one of those.

Good to know. May look into switching up my reward redemption then.

If you can't do it via e-miles, then this question really is better suited for the Southwest forum, but in an effort to help, I'll offer this: Why not use the Southwest shopping portal to buy something really cheap at Home Depot or Office Depot, then pick it up to avoid shipping costs? Not quite free, but don't you think spending $1 to keep your miles alive is worth it? https://rapidrewardsshopping.southwest.com/

Edit: Sorry, just saw that you're based in FRA, so I guess the portal is not an option. Again, best to post the question over there.

Has anyone noticed that now you can access e-miles only from USA.

On the login page it says:
eMiles is only available within the United States.

I guess VPN can help, but that is a new change...

Same problem here. Not worth bothering with a VPN for the few bits I get out of e-miles.

I'm at 400 and something and just want to cash out 500 UA miles before giving up.

I'm in a similar position. I'm just going to wait until I'm next in the States.

Although I don't know when it happened, I recently noticed that AA is now 550 points to get 500 miles, instead of 500 or 500. The program today is worth very little. tls

United, Hilton, IHG, and Delta appear to be unchanged so far.

Do you have trouble logging in? I tried to log in but no luck from outside the US. I have a bunch of miles in our accounts and it's annoying if they take them away just like that.

You will have to use VPN with an US IP address.
