I redeemed on Feb. 6th, and am still waiting for the miles to post to Delta.
Although when the redemptions were automatic and quarterly, those took less than a week to post.

E-miles
Hey, well this is my first day on the board. I've got 405 points so far on E-miles. the surveys seem to be slow coming my way. I'd like to have 500 before March 15th to add to my Delta Partners Promotion.

welcome to FT and good luck with delta. As well, waiting is part of the game in mile land, my friend. Just be sure to print records of everything you do so that you can spend your own time and money sending that stuff in to departments that have no clue how to help and probably wont do so. On the other hand, you may get the miles you are due if luck will have it. So far e-miles has been ok. Need to go into this one with the thought process that it can and will end one day and probably without much notice.

Under the new system where miles can be redeemed at any time, what date is used as the official posting date in Delta -- the day you actually requested the redemption of e-miles, the day it actually posted in Delta, some other date?
I currently don't have enough points to redeem for Delta miles, and I'm trying to figure out whether I should have any expectations that I will be able to use e-miles as a partner in the promo that ends 3/15.

cant be certain what the cut off date is based on. I would not consider doing any changes unless you know that answer and I think the real way to get it is to contact Emiles itself and ask them exactly that policy.
if someone can do this and post it here, it may help everyone.
emailing [email protected] seems to be the best way to find out (no phone number was found by me)

E-Miles: Earning activity counts as a partner, too

e-Miles is participating in this partner offer with Delta. While you may not have a deposit during this period of time, we will send Delta a separate file for this promotion with all Members who have activity during the time frame of 01/15 through 03/15. As long as you work offers, earn miles and remain active during that time period, you will appear on the list we send to Delta and the cumulative e-Miles offers will be considered as one transaction. Miles wont be deposited at that time but your activity on e-Miles will count as one unique partner activity.

Was that e-mail received before or after they changed their policy to allow members to redeem Delta miles at any time?

Assuming you are responding to me, I don't think an e-mail to e-Miles is going to shed any light on the subject. They won't know what information is used by Delta to post miles. I was hoping that people with actual experience might be able to chime in, but perhaps with the recent change, there is no real-world experience to tap.
Anyway you are probably right... they wont know what DL does, but if someone DOES receive the miles in their DL or other accounts on DAY X, then that person should also look at the date the airline actually codes the transactions as well.
What I'm getting at is this: I know NW, for example, will post something say, today, that was not in my account yesterday--and so I know what day I received the miles. BUT the date that they actually use in posting it--and the line item spot in which it now falls in my lists of NWA transactions--will be the one they registered the activity on their end.
if emiles sends miles over on DAY 1 and the airline receives them on DAY 2, they'll probably post them with DAY2's date, regardless of when they actually do show up.
Working this backwards--for any airline--should inveriably tell us what the system basically is. When that happens for someone, let's all post it to show how it went.
My own miles have yet to get to level to post too, and I am NW not DL.
It should also be noted that NL, CO and DL are partners and that this whole emile gig looks like something that's going to remain exclusive to sky team for a while--with some exceptions here and there.
i hope some of this helped someone
