they have no way of knowing if you have recived anything in return
so they safeguard it by having your name on it
but do as matagal stated to print with name unreadable or
run in a copier with tape over name
it would be worth a try

I just cashed in $50 for the HH points and they showed up instantaneously! I have never seen anything like that before.

I've been in the program for a month and have earned about $48 with another $3 pending. I get about 2-3 surveys a week mostly in the $3-5 range. I had a nice $20 survey last week which took no longer than the $3-5 surveys. After I have completed a survey I always go back to start page and click on earn more which usually has a short questionaire which adds 30-50 cents.
I'll be happy if I am able to redeem for 2000 miles each for AA and CO by year end.
FWIW my demographics are married, no kids, a mgt position and I live in NYC.

This is how they normally post

I find e-rewards to be a pretty big waste of time. Often their surveys take FAR longer than they indicate, and their prize selection is poor. I want AA miles (only) and they only let you redeem for those once per calendar year. I got my 2000 this year already, and come January 1 I'll get another 2000 and then close the account. Too much time, not enough benefit. It was fun at first, now it's just tedious.

Erewards is a waste of time

I agree. It takes forever to get credited. Many larger $ surveys never get credited and it's a hassle trying to get the credits. I gave up a year ago.

I'll submit that e-rewards is tedious, especially if you're short on time... And, many of the surveys now require you to answer 10+ questions before determining whether or not you "qualify" to take it. In a sense, you pretty much gave them statistics for a survey that you didn't even qualify for. :(

Paella747 Sep 14, 2006 3:16 am

I've never had a problem with the $$ being credited, but then again, I don't really keep track.... I just did my first really big $$ one two days ago (me thinks it was like $15.00 or so). It said that it takes 7-10 days to post. We'll see if there's a problem gettin' it......

No credit

I am leaving the program as soon as I get $7.50 more and cash out.
Too many rewards not posted to my account. When I request them, I get a message saying in effect "our clients deny your rewards". How can they deny them when they themselves have a record of them?

Since the surveys are worth so much less than they used to be, I often find myself trying NOT to qualify for the surveys. I'd rather just get the 50 cent credit (what happened to the $1 ??) for answering a couple of questions than get $3 for 30 minutes of my life.

Ugh, what happened to e-rewards...

TH2 Sep 15, 2006 6:10 pm

For me the offers seem to come in batches. It almost seems like if I get busy and don't respond to a few they stop for awhile and then eventually I get them again.

I've been happy with the AA miles. It's not that much work consdiering the reward.

newfbc Sep 15, 2006 7:35 pm

This was a new one for me.. getting an increase...

"Several days ago we sent an invitation to take a
survey about <removed>. Your time and
opinions are very valuable to our client, so to
encourage your participation, the award amount
has increased from $7 to $10."

I've been an erewards member for years and only now an I surely going to cancel. They've cheapened the value by time stamping the rewards for cancelation. It puts redemption in their hands. If you're getting close they simply don't send you surveys until after the points expire. No chance of getting to $100 any longer.

But worse! Every recent survey I've completed ends by saying you only get a partial credit because you didn't match the criteria we're looking for or the necessary number of responses has already been received so you only get a partial credit. Bull! The surveys have been completed and they already have the answers to use in their survey results.

I don't do business with companies that use these types of deceptive tactics.

ScottC Sep 17, 2006 10:29 am

I am also cancelling. I've got quite a lot in my account and the redemption options are just pathetic. I've filled in 100's of surveys, and all I can get is a few thousand miles or some pretty worthless coupons like 1 free rental day when you rent FIVE, or $25 off dinner presented as a coupon book of 5 coupons of 5$ which you can use once a month. The only one that looked decent was the FTD coupon, but you can only redeem that once a year.

I hate them.
