I had several surverys early on where I indicated this level of authority and this size company.
For the past six months I have been staying home while awaiting the birth of my baby (around Thanksgiving). I continue to answer the questions using my former employer and position. I've cashed in $225 since I joined in October 2005, and I currently have $42 in my account. I have run out of things to redeem my awards for, since I've taken all the Northwest, Delta, and HHonors awards that I'm allowed for now. I just used $25 for 6 Blockbuster certificates, but was disappointed when I got them (via email) because they had my name on them, which meant that it might be difficult to gift them to someone else. Since I use Netflix exclusively and the nearest Blockbuster is over 15 miles from my house, I'm not going to use them anytime soon (and no, the terms and conditions say nothing about this when I redeemed). So, for me, as long as I continue to use this type of position and answer the question based on what I know now about this company's plans for IT purchasing, ERP, accounting services, and management consulting I don't feel that I'm being untruthful, and I continue to get worthwhile surveys (ones that pay like $15 for 20 minutes as opposed to the consumer surveys that pay $3 for 20 minutes). yes they state your agreement with them @ e-rewards.com bottom of page member agreement it states Section 7) Redeeming e-Rewards Currency Member agrees not to sell, resell, auction, trade or barter rewards obtained with e-Rewards currency. By way of example, ERI shall not be responsible if Member does not receive the reward chosen when Member redeems e-Rewards currency; if Member is dissatisfied with the reward chosen but like you say its an offer that has help you some without much effort ^ |
Interesting, because I get a lot of emails from them each week. I actually wish that I had spent more time doing their silly surveys. But last week I saw that I needed 3,000 more HHonors points to get my 2 free nights at the Leeds Hilton and so I went and earned $13 worth of e-rewards in a span of 2 hours.
But being a 22 y/old male, fresh out of college, first time job, etc, I probably met all their demographic markers, because I just kept getting one email after another. I was very happy that I could get those 3,000 points for...well nothing! |
Okay, someone please start humming the theme song to Twilight Zone. After I read this thread I checked my email and found the first e-Rewards survey I've had for months! I had just about given up.

I joined e-rewards in 2001 or 2 & never got more than a 50c or $1 survey. Mostly they paid me 5c a pop funny money which = 2c real money for my permission to spam me :td: . I got to $25 after a year, then quit.
With all U big earners out there, I wonder if things are different now. |

Well, this has certainly been educational because I, too, barely receive any emails. I've now updated my profile and hope that the number of emails will soon increase.

I'm a SWF, and became a first-time homeowner 10 months ago. Coincidentally E-Rewards contacted me in the spring since my account had been inactive (maybe one redemption in two years), offering $5 for me to update my profile. Wow, have the number of offers jumped since then. It's true, though, that the offers have slowed since I approached the $100 mark--I should make that limit by year-end anyway...

Go figure. This has probably been my best year for e-rewards. I've redeemed $100 rewards in all the airlines but Delta and also gotten one 3000 HHonor points reward. I'm not a business owner, but I am responsible in my office for shipping and other administrative tasks, which are the bulk of surveys I get, as well as surveys on travel.

I have been a member since 2001 but really didn't pay much attention to it (big mistake) it was only in Feb 2006 that I "caught a clue" as I was trying to get enough points in my Hilton Honors account for a free stay at a resort. That's when I discovered the 3,000 points exchange for $50. I cashed in my points in May for 3,000 HH points and 2,000 AA points (which I will redeem for Hilton Honor points) and still had about $23 left. In August, I redeemed for another 3,000 HH points and since August, I have earned almost $100. I am extremely happy with this process. I just wished that I had taken advantage of the program sooner. Also, I belong to Northwest Airlines and US Air lines ff programs that i will redeem points for later as to ensure membership in their program.
Sorry if the program has not worked well for others, as for me, I am one happy camper!!! |

As a point of information, I have never personally redeemed my Blockbuster certificates. My partner always redeems them. There's never been any questions asked. Now, it may be because my color cartridges don't really work, so you can't see the name very clearly. But, I would certainly try giving a certificate to someone who can use it and see what happens. |
I have a reminder via Google Calendar when my 90 days are up for a HHonors redemeption and have always made it.
Think I've earned something like 21k HHonors points since joining, which is absolutely great. :) |
My Erewards rule is to wait until I hit $50 and then cash in for 3000 HHonors points. I'v edone two redemptions so far and will get one more before the year is out.
It's just a program. It may take a few months to get my 3000 HHonors but it saves a stay. |
