New $15 e-rewards Borders Award available
They've just come up with a new $15 e-rewards award for Borders. Not as good as the old one, but $5 a month for 3 months (and the $5 expire each month). Still, for e-rewards "money" it's something.

Realistically: the new system issues a flat $5 reward the month following $150 in accrued eligible spending. It is entirely possible that a huge ($300+) spender might see a $5 + $5 breakdown, rather than $10 the following month. This may have been the only way to shoehorn redemption of $15 e-rewards currency into the new propgramming. Remember that the old reward was limited to redemption only mid-Nov through January - you wanted a $14.99 book in March, and you were outta luck.
At this point, I'm planning on cashing towards the end of the year, with a focus on cheaper (under $10) books, hopefully
with a no-minimum 20% coupon.

(and didn't expire for 6 days after being printed) are now a thing of the past. The link takes you to a coupon that expired 7/31/07.
Borders e-mailed a 20% off coupon yesterday but it expires 8/12/07.
