MyPoints New Site

It is up. You can get 100 points for updating your profile.
They are no longer giving Hilton points as an award. This is very bad news
If you feel the same, please send them an e-mail expressing your disappointment.

The $5 Barnes and Noble card (750 points) also seems to have disappeared, although the $10 and $25 cards remain.

This is becoming so bad! For redemptions, most other travel partners like Marriott are also gone. Plus it seems there are almost no more gift certificates of a greater value than $50 available. ( Before, there were some $75 or $100 at Macy's or JCPenney).
To earn points, United isn't an option any more and many other merchants like eBags dropped out as well.

I guess it's time to redeem your points and run!

I agree, this is very bad news. Being able to convert mypoints into Hilton points was the main reason I became a member. Now I am sitting with over 16,000 mypoints.

I'm in the same boat. Grr! Well, I guess I'll be drinking a LOT of Starbucks. Grr!

BTW, pretty new site. And I was enjoying it, too, until right in the middle of searching the redemption awards, I got booted because they're updating again.

That sucks!

Email address is [email protected] - do the same and maybe we can get some progress!

I just emailed them as follows:

.....

Hello. I noticed that on your "enhanced" website, there is no redemption award listed for HiltonHHonors points. I was planning to redeem XX,000 MyPoints for XX,000 HHonors points when you came back online from your update, but could not find the link for HiltonHHonors.

I have three questions:
1. Are redemptions of MyPoints for HHonors points still available?

2. If not, why were we not given notice that such transfers would no longer be possible as of XX/XX/05 date so that we could make the transfers before the deadline.

3. If not, then is it truly an "upgrade" or "enhancement" if there are less ways to redeem points than before? That seems like a downgrade to me.

Please load the HHonors redeemption award back online or allow us "one last chance" to redeem our MyPoints for HiltonHHonors.

Sincerely -
ProTexana

My Points Redemption

A lot of the restaurants that participated are gone as well. One is the Landry Seafood House chain. I liked that award because we could save enough points and redeem for a free meal at a nice place. Really came in handy when traveling. Now I believe there are only 4, Stuart Anderson, Boston Market, (yuck) Red Lobster and Dave & Busters. A real let down compared to others they used to have.

I still see Marriott redemptions available. Have you tried the "search by merchant" option?

Oh this is bad! While Marriott still there, appears you can't just dump points into your account as only Marriott cheque redemption options available (3K for $25, 5750 MyPoints for $50.00, 8500 for $75 or 11250 for $100) Man, good thing I didn't have much more than 1K ready to transfer...

Sent my email. Hope there's just some 'bugs' to work out and HH returns, otherswise will probably not bother with MyPoints.

Can you please tell me where you see this offer? I checked the home page, my account page and my update account page.

Thanks for any help.

I am very disappointed about the disappearance of Marriott pts and Hilton! I won't be doing anything other than clicking on the emails from now on. (After I send them a complaint email)
