Whenever I click on an offer, I still get a new window that only says "Not Logged In". :( Anyone else get this?

I'm not getting that at all - are you completely logged out & then logging back in? Try not doing from a bookmark & instead - type in www.freeipods.com & then log in & see if that works - i'm not an internet guru or anything, but it may have something to do with your cookies - of course, I could be 100% wrong and completely off base too.

Weird. It seems to work on every computer but mine. :(

One of my referrals used my link and signed up with ancestry.com, but he hasn't gotten credit yet. Has anyone seen a delay in getting credit with ancestry.com?

wharvey Jun 21, 2004 12:00 pm

For me, ancestory.com appeared immediately.... as soon as my credit card info went through....

My referral's credit finally came through (after about a 4-hour delay).

Three more to go... :)

GM Card

Anyone else do the GM card application? I did, and I have to wait 1-2 weeks for the offer completion credit.

Well, in 1-2 weeks, you'll get credit for my referral, boilermaker! ^

khales Jun 22, 2004 10:32 am

I used boilermaker's link and already completed my offer with Ancestry.com.

Please add my link to the list: http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=6714276

Thanks!

Please read the note on the first post & a note below for those that have ordered

Hey Everyone,

I just e-mailed freeipods.com for the status of my order (it's been place & has been listed as "IN PROGRESS" for 12 days now). I pretended I was concerned they lost it because wharvey got his order approved already & I hadn't received any e-mails about mine (yeah, I'll admit it, I'm the jealous type :D). Anyways, they wrote me back (in less than 30 minutes - talk about customer service) and I they gave me my order number that they placed with Apple & told me to go create an account & and using the order number and the shipping zipcode, then I can view my order.

So I did...

AND I'M GETTING AN IPOD FOR FREE!!!!

According to Apple, I should be getting it shipped on or before July 15. Awesome! ^ ^ ^

I would love to see this work!

that's the link I received, hopefully people get to this last page, or if mine could be added to the first list that would be wonderful. I completed the ancestry.com offer and then immediately called to cancel, they were very helpful and gave me a confirmation # of my cancellation.

I used boilermaker's link - good luck getting your ipod!

Well done :D Glad you got it - unfortunately, only one of the five who signed up completed their offer for me - doesn't look like I will be getting an iPod anytime :(

It's great advice for anyone who wants to do such offers but doesn't want to give out real information.

I was doing a little investigation of this and discovered that apparently the Charter One cards are FREE!! As in, no service charge, and they are mailed to you free by regular mail.

Wow, talk about a great way to avoid losing a credit card, fraud, etc!

And they earn miles ;) (but you can only buy $1500 per month - they've changed it - see Milesbuzz for information on how people were getting about 10K miles/month from Charter One).

bnarayan1511 - I will place your link on the first page since you seem to have somehow gotten the short end of this deal.

Looks legit

I just noticed other people looked into this too, but for what it's worth I looked into the website, since I feared maybe it was a scam - it's run by Gratis Network LLC, which runs FreeGiftPlanet.com, a legit site that's been around a while. The Gratis people have been based in DC since 2000. I also contacted a person at Ancestry.com to confirm they are using the promotion as a marketing tool. (I had fulfilled my registration thru Ancestry.com, which seems the quickest and easiest way, then got worried)

Anyone who'd like to reward my efforts, please follow my link (once my turn in line comes up, of course). My first day using FlyerTalk and is shaping up to be pretty cool. Thanks!
