And on another note - I'll be heading out to KEF on Saturday (Thanks to notsosmart!) & won't be in my office or with computer access for most of tomorrow. I won't be back til next week sometime & don't plan on touching a computer while in KEF (although while waiting at JFK, I may browse the WAP-FT - see ScottC's post in the Suggestions forum) - because of this - I won't be updating this thread for about a week or so.

If someone else would like to take over this thread and copy & paste what I've compiled so far (I'll delete my post & have them refer to yours by page & post number if you can do it by tomorrow) and try to keep it in track enough to help all of the FTers out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

freeipods.com seems to be down right now because i'm tryign to go on and it just won't load..but anyway as soon as i get my referral thing i'm gonna post it on here, btw, can someone tell me how you can get a url for people to refer you like someo f you did ? thanks

i don't get how on the site for the offers it says "NO credit card required" and then when i was registering for the aol one..it asks me for a credit card..are there any offers that DON'T cost money and DON'T need a credit card?

With all the buzz in general over the iPod mini regarding backorders, I decided to heed the discussions here and ordered the 15 gb model. I recieved an e-mail right away confirming the order, and then another one two days later (which I posted here) saying that the order was shipped. Hopefully, I'll have it by next friday.

Congratulations William! Glad it worked out for you & we know it's legit. Mine isn't getting shipped til 7/15 according to the Apple website - I'm dying of antici..........pation! I wish they had the 15GB one available when I ordered (they only had the mini's available! Had I known about the wait time, I would have ordered the 15GB one!)

I'd also just like to say to everyone on FT that things like this is what makes FT such a great community! ^^^ We've had a lot of newbies join because of this thread & most are following the spirit of the community & it's really great to see everyone kind of working together. I'm hoping I get my iPod & I'm glad to see that everyone who I referred got taken care of!

Ancestry.com problem?

I had 2 people sign up with my referral (non-FT'ers) today and both did Ancestry.com with credit cards and while they received their Ancestry usernames/password and confirming e-mail, neither they nor I received credit for it. 1 of them signed up about 4 hours ago, the other one about an hour ago. What's strange is that myself and my fiancee did the ancestry.com signup this morning and we both received immediate credit.

Is anyone experiencing this problem? Is there something we are missing?
