E-rewards redemption for AA.com
I would like to know if you can do a double redemption with aa.com via E-rewards. Example redeem a $25 and a $50 dollar reward but only take a single flight.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
KT

I have a variation of this question, but couldn't find the answer posted elsewhere...
Can you redeem e-rewards from 2 separate accounts to get 2 bonuses on a single AA flight? I ask because my wife and I both have a lot of e-rewards dollars saved up, but I only have 1 more AA flight planned before the e-rewards accounts expire.
Has anyone tried this before?

Question...
...on July 2nd, I ignorantly redeemed some erewards for 1,000 AA miles....silly me didn't read that a flight was required. Just today I booked a flight on American Airlines....here is my question....can I still get the bonus miles?
Also, does anyone know how to contact customer service at ERewards? I could not find it on their web site...

Steph58,
Thanks for the fax number and the advice...I'll shoot something off to them today....I find it ironic, the "E" rewards doesn't have "E"mail....:-)
What other programs do you reccomend joining? I'm only part of Erewards and Mypoints, is there any other good ones out there?

1. [email protected] - Tracie Skinner may respond to your e-mail or more likely, no one will respond.
2. bsdstone - You are out of luck. You will not receive any credit from July 2nd, and they will not credit the award back to you. I have actually redeemed, then flown after redemption but before the reward period and not received credit.
3. I have found that you can redeem $50 awards as quick as you can earn $50. Sometimes this is fast (November, December, January) and sometimes it takes quite a while. 30, 60, 90-day does not apply as far as I can tell.

bdstone: Good luck, you'll need it. For the first time I redeemed an AA reward; took the flight nearly 4 weeks ago and the bonus miles have not posted. I contacted them and they sent me a canned response to wait 6 weeks. Others report no problems so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have as big a big hassle as I normally experience in getting my e-Offers to post. Lately, when I've contacted them about missing $$ from a couple of surveys, they've responded that they have no record of my having participated. So now I try to print whatever proof I can, thus, my reason for having the fax number!
I also participate in MyPoints, who also causes frustration in posting of what you've rightfully earned. Last summer I achieved my goal of enough MyPoints points to convert to Hilton to top off my HHonors account for a very nice stay in Rome. So now I don't buy anything via MyPoints--too much hassle. Instead when buying things online I always use one of the airlines' shopping sites--AAdvantage most of the time. You will find that almost any company who participates in MyPoints will participate in one of the airline's buyers/miles programs. Use Andrew's web site to look them up--it's great. Occasionally I'll use GoldPoints--when we eat at TGIF--but pretty much as a last choice.
