Does anyone have an Amazon coupon code to pass on?
I would like to give a gift to a child relative of mine. She wants to be a chef when she becomes of age. Anyway, more to the point, I am trying to buy a cook-book for her valued at over $60. Can someone pass on a coupon code to me?

Take a look at
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum...ML/002627.html
That said, this thread is more appropriate for S.P.A.M., since it's not about the exchange of travel-related coupons. Therefore I am moving it there:

Whenever I buy something at a website that has an option for coupon codes I always head to google to search. Usually something like "Amazon.com Coupon Codes" as a search will find me plenty of results. There are lots of websites dedicated specifically to coupon codes. 5-10 minutes of searching should find you the best deals out there should they exist. Unfortunately, I think that the online vendors are catching on to this practice, and they are using less and less coupon codes.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Amazon coupons are hard to find, try Barnes and Noble or another books store. Here si what i found from Valueconsumer for Barnes and Noble:

Any current Amazon.com coupon codes are usually posted in the "DVD Bargains" Forum at www.dvdtalk.com

Here's a direct link.

m_hui, Check out this site for various online coupons. May I recommend you that you see if it is available at Overstock.com, they offer very inexpensive, prompt shipping and oftentimes they beat Amazon and & B&N prices. The site below has a coupon code for first time buyer's to receive $5 off a $10 or more purchase, there are also Amazon coupons avail there too.
Hope this helps..

Even with a coupon at Amazon, you may still be able to find it cheaper somewhere else.

In fact, often if you go to buy an item over $30 (straight from Amazon, not from one of its "used & new" resellers), when you get to the "choose your payment" section of Checkout, you'll get a choice to "place your order" or "save $30 now", where the latter button is explained by:
"Sign up now and take $30 off this order with your new pre-approved Amazon.com Visa Card!"
(I don't know if this works for everybody, tho. It does happen for me usually.)
If you do get that, you can handle it all in one step, and not have to do the card thing in a separate step first.
