erewards deadline extension

I jsut received an email from e-rewards saying I had until June 29 to cash in points or lose them. I'm 70 cents short of $50 which I want to use for HH points. Does anybody know if I can get an extension so I can earn the additional 70 cents? Or does anybody know a way to earn 70 cents fast?

I got a similar email that said:

"Update your Member Profileand we'll update your currency.

Perhaps you were not aware of this program rule. So we're offering to extend the expiration date of the e-Rewards currency you earned prior to January 1, 2003 until March 31, 2004. All you need to do is click here to update your profile by June 28, 2003. By updating your profile now, you'll have additional time to build your account balance and reach your next reward level."

Thanks swag, I'll give it a try. My email didn't have the language you quoted but maybe it's automatic if you update. I've sent their info email address a request as well. If nothing happens by 6/28 I'll just go for the lower reward, although its much less bang for the buck.

I got the same email also. Only problem is I emptied out my account in January, 2003. My current balance is all from emails sent to me this year. I sent their customer service an email asking them to verify this and am awaiting their response......

I got the "until June" email, not the profile update one.

It was a tough choice: I had about $15 worth last year that I couldn't use by the usual deadline. So, whether to use another $10 of this year's to get 1000 Hilton points (which aren't worth much) or lose about $11 (75% of the $15). I took the Hilton points, since all the other rewards are devaluing too.

Got the same "use it or lose it" email today, to get $5.00 by updating my profile, and that extends my current balance to next year, without any loss of value. Immediate increase in my account, but it would help if they sent more regular emails to help keep the account active and growing. At .05 a pop, and very infrequently receiving their emails, it'll take a while before I can redeem for anything.

....received an email response from E-rewards saying "Good Morning

Thank you for contacting e-Rewards. 0 of your current credits are due to expire on June 28. This includes any recent redemptions you may have made."

I'm in a similar boat to the original poster--I had been hording mine since inception for a $250 HHonors award, which has disappeared from the award chart without notice. My backup plan was to redeem for lift tickets, but those are "out of stock" with no explanation about when they might return, and me with a deadline looming to redeem some serious bucks. My attempts to get some additional information via email have been unanswered since Friday--any suggestions?

FYI, I emailed them as well and finally got an answer which said, in essence, that they had already extended the deadline from March (as per their rules) for my 2002 points and that there was no further extension. I also asked if there were a way to garner 70 cents more, but no response. So I'm left just short of the next award level.
I think I'm going to get out of the program as soon as I reach the next $25 level.

I've got the same deadline - June 28, so I was under the impression that I'd lose some points just because I take only Hilton and my last redemption was less then 3 months ago (March 28).
Didn't happen - I was able to redeem today
So I'd advice anyone who wants Hilton try to redeem a few times until 28 th - their time limit is probably 90 or even 89 days.
