MyPoints Cust. Service Reply

Many people, including myself, have had to fight with MyPoints to get our points posted for purchases.

I made 2 purchases recently. 1 posted within days, and I hadn't heard from the other.

This morning I sent an email with the particulars of the purchase, and WITHIN 2 HOURS I received a reply indicating that they had corrected my account for the puchase, and that it would show up in a few days.

Perhaps they're finally getting their acts together?????

I wouldn't get your hopes up. I regularly send in emails stating the particulars of missing points. I always get back the same "We have completed crediting your account with the XXX Points. Please
allow five full business days to view the correction to your account. We
are sorry for the inconvenience but thank you for your understanding.". After 5 business days I always have to email back saying "this is my 2nd(or 3rd) email on this matter. You promised me my points in 5 business days, it is now 6, etc, etc"

That is exactly my experience as well.

I'm trying to find the link so I can e-mail about missing points. What's the address?

Oh well, the last time I tried it I didn't even get the 5-6 days email. I thought they had mended their ways

I'll keep you posted.

For what it's worth, I'm having the same problems. You really have to watch them not only on posting points for purchases, but also for posting the measley points they offer for reading emails. I also didn't get points one day for finding Max. I'm going to have to start keeping a log.

I have no complains. As far as I know, I got all the MyPoints from them. When I asked them by e-mail to credit points, they answered within hours and credited the points.

Well, time for me to eat my words. It's been over 5 business days since I received the email & still not points.

I sent a second email this morning which was replied to promptly. They said the points were already in my account, and that I should refresh my member key to see them.

I refresed, and also checked my account statement for the last 2 months. No points.

I wrote back asking them to tell me exactly what date the points were posted, since I couldn't find them anywhere.

That was 6 hours ago.... no answer yet. (they replied in less than an hour earlier today).

Ditto, ditto, ditto. Promised me points in five days, did not show up. These are from a purchase over a month ago! On the other hand I just bought my Daytimer refill via Goldpoints and the points showed up before DT charged my credit card.

Another update....

Received a BLANK email on Sat regarding my follow-up after 5 business days.

I sent another note yesterday indicating that they sent me a blank note.

Got a reply today.... Sorry for the misunderstanding & inconvenience. The points have now properly been credited to your account. PLEASE WAIT 5 BUSINESS DAYS TO VIEW THEM.

I just sent a nasty-gram........

Update for Mary...now they seem to have given me the 500 missing points twice - don't know what else they could be from!

I made a redemption back around the middle of April. It used to only take a week to get my certificate so I emailed and they said wait up to six weeks.

I just checked my balance and they have removed the balance from "pending."

They must want me to use the new redemption levels. It is becoming a less fruitful endeavor to have anything to do with their site.

Update to my nasty-gram.....

I received the standard "you'll have the points in 5 days" email (my second one). This time, the points appeared in my account overnight.

Amazing that they get away with this crap. Unfortunately, with the demise of goldpoints (at least for me) they seem to be the only game in town.

I requested a cert in Jan and two in April. Two weeks ago I received one. Over a dozen emails sent regarding the January request. Is the one I just received for the January or April request? I always get an automated response.

Very poor customer service.
