I that case I think you did great.
I also had some cancellations myself and got all the miles too after sending fax.
It also work sometimes to get double miles: 1 set of miles in QG account for example and the other set in Turkish airline card for example...
Good for your Akki.

I sent my boarding passes to Executive Club to claim them. If there is a little chance to get miles from the British?

Sometimes for example you can get "double miles" for Turkish Airline and Swiss on a Turkish airline flight.
But again why not try!! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Now I am absolutely confused. My Qualiflyer account shows the following transactions for August:
14.08. Free Ticket -20000
30.08. LX353 B London-Geneva +1000
30.08. LX2817 B Geneva-Zrich +500
30.08. LX1028 B Zrich-Dsseldorf +1000
31.08. Bonus miles "www.qualiflyer.com, book with miles" +1000
31.08. e>ticket Promotion +1000
Both the free ticket (four segments) and the paid ticket LHR-GVA-ZRH-DUS were booked online as e>tickets, but no e>checkin was performed.
Questions/Points:
1) I suppose the 2000 miles for online booking of the paid ticket will still come in later on.
2) e>ticket bonus for award ticket: according to an earlier post by kooks, this bonus als applies to award tickets. If it is segment based, it should be 2000 miles.
3) e>ticket bonus for paid ticket: if segemtn based, this should be 1500 miles.
4) In either case, I don't understand how it can be 1000 miles only, and to which of the two tickets it applies. Plus I understand that I should still be getting one e>ticket bonus for the other ticket.
Any advice? Thanks.

I will try to answer yours questions:
1) the 2'000 miles should come later this month.
2) if you had a free tket and did 4 segments you should get 2'000 miles (4x500), that is right. In my wife's case maybe we are lucky or maybe it s a new promotion that I don t know of.
3) your point is correct, you did 3 segments on the 30th August so 3x500= 1'500 miles bonus and not the 1'000 like you wrote.
4) I also cannot anderstand to which flights this bonuses aply.
My guess is that one of the flight is missing in the system, maybe because you flu in one of the last day of the month. Wait a little more days and if nothing shows online them call Qualiflyer.

I recently had an award ticket which was an e-ticket, and I received no e-ticket bonuses for this award ticket.
However, on a very similar itinerary I noticed that the e-ticket bonus miles for international european segments posted two weeks earlier than those for the GVA-ZRH flight. Same thing with the youth bonus I receive - it postes after a week for the international flights, but took longer for the domestic.
I would wait 2-3 weeks and then call Qualiflyer for the 500 e-ticket bonus for GVA-ZRH if they haven't posted. I wouldn't ask for bonus miles on an award ticket (other than online booking) but just feel happy if one day you do get miles. I once had a c-class award booked with US Airways miles (lucky I got rid of them) and got full miles incl. youth bonuses for the flight. Basically flew for free. That is a while back though and I've never been that lucky since then.

Some other thing I gathered from a LX BSL internet desk team leader:
The 2000 swiss.com online booking bonus miles actually where available for flights booked from swiss airports during a short time period. (A few weeks only, though.) It had to be discontinued for tickets ex CH for "legal reasons". I couldn't find out more than that.

For anybody familiar with Swiss laws on this board: what is it that suddenly made online booking bonuses illegal in CH? SR and LX both had them for years...

To me it sounds like that guy just didnt have an excuse ready, so he blamed it on the lawyers....
Even though Im not an expert in aviation law, I cant come up with a reason why online booking bonuses should be illegal all of a sudden. I could only imagine it having to do with antitrust or unfair competition laws, but if you look around, almost every airline offers these bonuses. And why such a prohibition should only apply to flights originating in Switzerland is just beyond me...

They had the promotion for sometimes. But it ended it think it was March 2002.
The sign was still on for the flight sarting outside CH. I asked Qualiflyer more 3 times why they said the promotion was over. They also did not know about the flight starting outside CH. I had the send them an email with the Gif attached !. I also was credited 2 times for flights booked online starting GVA but after sending emails.
I suppose we could do something about it.
What do you think about it M Huegli as a lawyer ???.

Well, promotions are more or less voluntary incentives given out by the airline. As long as they promise the bonus miles either in writing or orally (problem of proof), they are legally bound to credit your account. Once the promise is gone (e.g. no longer a notice on their website), you as a customer dont have a claim for these bonus miles.
If they credit you by mistake, this does not give you the right to be "mistakenly credited" the next time. The only thing you can do is just give it a try with customer service and see whether you get them. As far as legal steps, I dont see any chance for success.
