earn and redeem miles on BA -full network
on the website of SNBA:
"With regard to the co-operation agreement between SN Brussels Airlines and BA, code share agreements on London Heathrow (9 daily flights) and Gatwick (3 daily flights) will become operational as of 27 October. SN Brussels Airlines and BA also intend to code-share on other UK regional routes, e.g. Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Southampton and Cardiff. Both companies are also intending to extend the terms of the co-operation agreement regarding the Frequent Flyer Programme to allow SN Brussels Airlines and BA customers to earn and redeem miles on each airlines full network. ...which could, depending on conditions such as eligible fare classes and award levels, make SNBA's new FFP a very attractive choice.

But the idea of being able to burn my QG miles on BA's SSC sounds supersonically tempting.
The again, I thought that LX was in negotiations with BA & OW, too. Didn't they all say they wanted to introduce different FFPs because of different alliance strategies? The current state of facts is: SNBA wants to codeshare with BA (OW). LX wants to join OW. TAP already codeshares with IB (OW). What's the point? Looks like they all want to go the same road anyway.

Most economy fares with BA don't qualify for AAdvantage credit for UK members, for example, and UK BAEC members get only 25%. The situation of BAEC and AA members in the rest of Europe is not much better.
